Titre : Assistant General Manager (AGM)

Objectif du poste

Le candidat idéal sera un leader passionné par l’hospitalité, désireux de travailler en étroite collaboration avec le General Manager pour assurer le bon fonctionnement des opérations au quotidien. Responsabilités principales

• Assister le General Manager dans la supervision des opérations des restaurants et services de traiteur.
• Surveiller les performances des équipes, en apportant guidance et soutien.
• Garantir la conformité aux normes de santé et de sécurité.
• Gérer l’inventaire pour optimiser le stock et minimiser le gaspillage.
• Répondre rapidement aux retours et plaintes des clients pour améliorer leur fidélité.
• Mettre en œuvre des initiatives visant à rehausser l’expérience client.
• Assister dans le développement et la gestion des budgets.
• Identifier les tendances du marché et les préférences clients pour informer le développement des menus.
• Travailler avec l’équipe marketing sur des stratégies promotionnelles pour attirer et retenir les clients.

Qualifications requises

• Diplôme universitaire en gestion des affaires, hôtellerie ou domaine pertinent.
• Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans la gestion d’établissement de restauration, dont 2 ans en position de leadership.
• Excellentes compétences en service client et communication.
• Capacités avérées de gestion d’équipe et de leadership.
• Maîtrise des outils Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Anglais courant, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.

The AGM will work closely with the General Manager to keep things running efficiently, support staff development, and make sure guests always have a great experience. • Assist the General Manager in overseeing all restaurant and catering operations to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.

• Monitor the performance of restaurant managers and staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all locations.

• Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.

• Ensure that all restaurants and catering events deliver exceptional customer service.

• Address customer feedback and complaints promptly, resolving issues to maintain customer loyalty.

• Implement initiatives to enhance customer experience and increase customer retention.

• Assist in developing and managing budgets for the group of restaurants and catering services.

• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and provide regular reports to the General Manager.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.

• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing restaurant managers and key staff members.

• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans as necessary.

• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and high employee morale.

• Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategic plans to grow the business.

• Identify market trends and customer preferences to inform menu development and service offerings.

• Assist in the expansion and opening of new restaurant locations and catering services.

• Work with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

• Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, including special events, holiday promotions, and new product launches.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business management, Hospitality, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
