Our mission is to create safer digital communities by moderating user-generated content across platforms, enabling brands and users to interact in secure, respectful, and engaging spaces.As we expand our operations in Lisbon, we are looking for enthusiastic, detail-driven, and passionate German-speaking Content Moderators to join our growing international team.Your RoleAs a Content Moderator, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment on digital platforms by monitoring and evaluating user-generated content. This is an on-site position in Lisbon, with full relocation support including accommodation and flight tickets, plus a €3000 signing bonus to welcome you to our team.Whether you’re already experienced in moderation or looking to start a new chapter in your career, we welcome candidates who are committed to making the internet a better place.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Moderation
- Review and moderate text, images, videos, and live content for compliance with community guidelines and legal regulations.
- Identify and take appropriate action on offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content.
- Ensure all moderation decisions are consistent, fair, and in line with company policies.
Quality Assurance
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail during moderation.
- Evaluate content in context to ensure culturally and linguistically appropriate decisions.
- Provide feedback to enhance moderation practices and help refine existing guidelines.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with team leads and fellow moderators to reach moderation targets.
- Engage in team discussions to share insights and improve best practices.
- Assist internal departments (e.g., user support, quality, or compliance) when content-related escalations arise.
Reporting & Analysis
- Log moderation activity and flag trends, patterns, or emerging risks.
- Suggest improvements or highlight needs for policy updates based on user behavior and content review data.
User Interaction
- Respond to user queries related to moderation decisions when necessary.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically when explaining guideline enforcement.
RequirementsLanguages
- German: B2-C1 level (mandatory)
- English: B2 level for internal communication
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in content moderation, customer service, or social media review is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to handle sensitive content with emotional resilience and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and pattern recognition.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness of German-speaking user behavior online.
- Basic proficiency in using digital platforms and office tools (training provided).
What We OfferCompensation Package
- Base Salary: €1,100 gross/month x 14 months
- KPI Bonus: Up to €350/month based on performance
- Meal Allowance: €7.24/day (workdays)
- Signing Bonus: €3,000 (paid in installments)
