Le poste de Global Category Buyer implique la responsabilité de développer une stratégie d’achat globale pour la catégorie concernée, avec pour objectifs de garantir des prix compétitifs, des processus efficaces et une disponibilité optimale tout en respectant les normes de qualité exigées. Les principales missions incluent :

• Développement de la stratégie d’achat à l’échelle mondiale.
• Coordination avec les fonctions corporatives selon les standards d’achat de ContiTech.
• Gestion du portefeuille de fournisseurs au niveau mondial.
• Négociation d’accords-cadres.
• Analyse du marché pour anticiper les fluctuations de prix et de disponibilité des matériaux clés.

Qualifications Requises

Ce poste requiert un diplôme en économie, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe, ainsi que plusieurs années d’expérience professionnelle dans l’achat stratégique de matières premières dans un environnement international. Les candidats doivent démontrer :

• Des compétences en négociation et en communication, ainsi qu’une aptitude à la pensée analytique.
• Une capacité à travailler de manière autonome tout en ayant un fort esprit d’équipe.
• Un niveau d’anglais courant, d’autres langues étant un plus.
• Une volonté de voyager (environ 10 à 15%).

In addition, ContiTech serves the automotive and transportation industries as well as rail transport.Job Description

• Develope global purchasing strategy for the respective category to ensure best prices, lean and efficient processes, availability on demand, and meeting the necessary quality standards
• Drive best cost country and localization strategy
• Coordinate with related corporate functions in line with ContiTechs purchasing standards
• Manage global supplier portfolio incl. market analysis
• Steer selection of new suppliers in collaboration with R&D and develop suppliers to ensure timely sourcing, quality and competitiveness
• Negotiate frame agreements
• Calculate and report all savings in respective tools (e.g., RAMPIT)
• Monitor market pricing and availability for key production materials
• Support/Manage task forces / projects and related risk analyses for the respective category, and taking necessary actions (e.g. in case of raw material shortages).
• Support price budgeting and demand forecasting

Qualifications

• Degree in economics, engineering, operations or related field (university / university of applied science)
• Professional experience in strategic raw material purchasing or comparable function
• Professional experience in working in an international acting company with a global purchasing network
• Good negotiation and communication skills and analytical thinking
• Proven project management skills
• Fluent English language skills (written and spoken), further languages beneficial
• Ability to work independently as well as high level of self-motivation and teamwork
• High level of social & intercultural competence
• Willingness to travel (circa 10-15%)
