Description du poste : Job ID: 40106 | Location: Tarragona, Tarragona, SpainDrive the Change!We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as the Global Head of Process Safety. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining process safety standards and initiatives in a leading international specialty chemical company.ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategic Direction
- Lead the Global Process Safety Experts network and SME team.
- Develop and implement global process safety roadmaps.
- Steer process safety initiatives to improve process safety standards at site and global level.
- Set Clariant’s process safety standards and steer the implementation.
- Communicate process safety performance and risks to the Business Units.
- Foster a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
Technical Oversight
- Provide expert process safety guidance and thought leadership.
- Steer compliance with process safety standards in projects and operations.
- Enable high quality process hazard analysis, change management, pre-start-up safety reviews, etc… throughout the organization.
- Monitor and benchmark process safety performance to drive continuous improvement.
Capability Building
- Develop process safety competency across the organization.
- Deploy targeted training programs to enhance process safety awareness and skills in all relevant functions (operations, engineering…).
- Establish effective reporting systems for Process Safety events.
- Leverage technology and digitalization to enhance process safety systems efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with chemical or technical background, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- 5+ years of management experience in chemical industry.
- First-hand experience in at least 2 of the following areas: production, maintenance, engineering and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety).
- Strong technical leadership abilities, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to proactive safety culture and continous improvement.
- Experience with implementing robust systems and metrics using technology/digitalization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and drive change across the global organization.
- A problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to travel ~ 30-40%.
