Description du Poste
Le poste de Global Logistics Manager est une nouvelle fonction créée à notre site de Te Aroha. Vous serez chargé de superviser les opérations logistiques internationales de manière intégrale. Votre rôle vise à garantir que les produits de miel premium atteignent les clients à travers divers canaux et marchés. Ce poste est clé pour l’exécution de la stratégie logistique globale de l’entreprise, avec un accent particulier sur les marchés des États-Unis, du Royaume-Uni, et du Moyen-Orient.
Tâches Quotidiennes
Un quotidien typique dans ce rôle pourrait inclure :
- Superviser l’ensemble de la gestion des expéditions, du fret et des tiers logistiques (3PL) pour les marchés des États-Unis, du Royaume-Uni et des Émirats Arabes Unis.
- Développer des stratégies logistiques spécifiques par canal, notamment pour le Direct to Customer, Amazon, le retail et d’autres canaux internationaux.
- Collaborer avec l’équipe qualité pour maintenir l’intégrité des produits tout au long des processus logistiques.
- Gérer le positionnement des inventaires à travers les nœuds de distribution.
- Promouvoir les outils alimentés par l’IA au sein des fonctions de chaîne d’approvisionnement.
Compétences Requises
Le candidat idéal devra présenter une expérience confirmée dans la logistique internationale, incluant la gestion des 3PL, les réglementations douanières et l’exécution omnicanale. Vous devrez faire preuve de proactivité dans l’optimisation des processus en intégrant des technologies modernes comme l’Internet des objets (IoT) et des outils d’intelligence d’affaires.
- Expérience en stratégies d’exécution omnicanale (e-commerce, retail, Amazon).
- Succès avéré dans la gestion des 3PL et de la logistique internationale.
- Connaissance des technologies émergentes en logistique, notamment l’IoT.
- Maîtrise des outils d’intelligence d’affaires, de reporting automatisé et de visualisation des données.
- Qualifications tertiaires en logistique, chaîne d’approvisionnement ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Expérience dans la gestion de produits alimentaires premium et des chaînes de froid.

About the roleHandle end to end global logistics operations in this newly created role based at the Te Aroha site. Taking the lead in ensuring the highest quality premium honey products reach customers across all channels and markets, this role is critical to delivering the global logistics strategy. Overseeing full logistics across all channels with a focus on US, UK and the Middle East, you’ll lead a high performing team vital to maintaining exceptional service levels. We’re seeking a future focused thinker who is not afraid of AI powered technology and has experience in successful implementation within global logistics operations.What a typical day could look like
- Overseeing all shipping, freight and 3PL management across US, UK and UAE markets
- Developing channel-specific logistics strategies for Direct to Customer , Amazon, Retail and other International channels
- Coordinating with Quality team to maintain product integrity through logistics processes
- Manage inventory positioning across distribution nodes
- Champion AI powered tools across supply chain functions
What you’ll bring to the tableExperienced in global logistics, you’ll have extensive knowledge in 3PL management, customs regulations and Omni-channel fulfillment. With a drive for continual optimisation, you can lead on technology to enhance visibility through loT and business intelligence tools. Analytical thinking with excellent communication skills allows you to anticipate, plan and adapt to change whilst maintaining a premium customer service focus. Your ability to collaborate and build relationships is essential to navigating complex situations whilst mentoring a team to achieve.Additionally, you will have:
- Experience with Omni-channel fulfilment strategies (e-commerce, retail, Amazon)
- Proven track record in 3PL management and international logistics
- Knowledge of IoT, and emerging logistics technologies
- Experience with business intelligence tools, automated reporting, and data visualisation
- Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline
- Knowledge of premium food product handling and cold chain management
