The company employs 4500 employees worldwide.Sodastream in SOUTH KOREASodastream is currently in SOUTH KOREA in a small scale via distributor. During the last few years sales have been growing slowly. Sodastream considers SOUTH KOREA as a strategic market and therefore has decided to open a subsidiary there in 2025.
ResponsibilitiesThe Country Manager reports to the Head of Region (Cheif Business Officer). The role will have a broad and hands-on remit, opening the office in SOUTH KOREA relaunching SodaStream into the SOUTH KOREAN market, including recruiting staff, building business infrastructure and setting relationships with customers, taking full P&L responsibility for the SOUTH KOREA business and leading the development of the strategy by demand creation in both food and non-food channels, creation of brand heat, strategical PR, execution of big and bold POS and the opening of new doors, establish strong D2C presence.This position will initialy lead a team of 4 including Marketing/D2C, Sales, Logistics and Finance in order to set-up the business.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role – managing a market with similar scale, experience in launching / growing a business – a must
- Marketing and Sales background and thourough understanding of the SOUTH KOREA consumer – a must
- FMCG, sales/retail experience – a must
- E-commerce – strong plus
- Experience from the food industry – strong plus
- Drives for results in the right manner (with the highest sense of urgency)
- Organizational leadership and team development (leads through influence)
- Strong communication and influencing skills (verbal and written)
- Innovative and creative thinking (need fresh, imaginative thinking)
- Highly resourceful to make things happen
- English at mother tongue level.
