Job Summary:The Assistant Government Relations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the hotel’s operations align with Saudi Arabia’s legal and regulatory frameworks. This position involves managing visa and permit processes, maintaining compliance with labor laws, and fostering positive relationships with governmental agencies.As Assistant Government Relations Manager, we rely on you to,
- Ensure adherence to Saudi labor laws, immigration policies, and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records, including visas, iqamas, work permits, and other legal documents.
- Monitor expiration dates and initiate timely renewals to prevent lapses in compliance.
- Process and manage all types of visas, including employment and residence visas for employees and entertainers.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the hotel and various government agencies.
- Ensure the hotel possesses and maintains all required licenses and certifications, such as trade licenses, civil defense approvals, and health permits.
What we are Looking For:
- At least 3 years in government relations, visa processing, or a similar role within the hospitality industry or a multinational organization.
- Proven experience dealing with ministries such as the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Interior, GOSI, Chamber of Commerce, and SAGIA/MISA.
- In-depth understanding of Saudi labor laws, immigration laws, and employment visa processes.
- Knowledge of e-services platforms (e.g., Muqeem, Absher, Qiwa, GOSI, Taqat, Balady).
