Description du poste : SUMMARY OF THE ROLEGroup Purchasing Support OfficerGroup Purchasing is Jotun’s corporate function responsible for purchasing strategies, guidelines and commercial execution with suppliers on behalf of Jotun’s worldwide network and companies. The Group Purchasing Support Officer will be part of a team responsible for developing and implementing operational purchasing standards and tools to support our local purchasing teams worldwide. Your responsibilities will include driving improvement initiatives and providing support to our local purchasing teams at the factories, as well as to the Group Purchasing department.
The Group Purchasing team in Jotun is made up of 47 committed professionals, 30 of whom are based in Sandefjord, Norway, while the rest are spread across our regional hubs in Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and Dubai.Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Group Purchasing policies and procedures, governance principles and best practices for operational purchasing is adhered to in all units in Jotun
  • Participate in the development and implementation of standardized procedures, best practices and tools for operational purchasing
  • Standardize and optimize the use of Matrix – IFS for purchasing
  • Assist in operational purchasing assessments, coach and support local purchasing teams on demand
  • Support in a range of category management related tasks
  • Assist Group Purchasing in various tasks on demand

Qualifications:

  • You should have a relevant Bachelor/Master degree in purchasing, logistics, economics or similar (extensive experience in the field can compensate for education)
  • Preferably 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Good knowledge in and experience from use of ERP systems (IFS/SAP)
  • Good skills in Microsoft applications
  • Flexible and possess self-drive for improvement work and finding good solutions
  • Good communication skills and English skills, oral and written
  • Quick learner and business sense
  • Some travelling can be expected
