We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader and change agent to lead one of the two DBS Foundation supported themes- providing daily needs for the underprivileged and improving financial literacy and inclusion levels of vulnerable segments in Taiwan.Since 2014, the DBS Foundation (DBSF) is committed to uplifting lives and livelihoods by igniting change in businesses and communities. In 2023, the Bank pledged to give up to SGD 1 billion over the next 10 years to improve lives and livelihoods of the low-income and underprivileged, and foster a more inclusive society. The bank will deploy up to SGD 100 million each year in its key markets including Taiwan with effect from 2024.The candidate we are looking for will play a pivotal role in enhancing the DBS Foundation brand while driving its ability to deliver social impact at scale. The incumbent will also need to be well versed in governance matters, in measuring impact outcomes, and ensuring that all initiatives create scalable impact & enable sustainable change.If you are passionate about social impact and possess purpose driven leadership skills to drive meaningful outcomes, we encourage you to pursue this exciting opportunity!About Group Strategic Marketing & Communication:Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing and research to differentiate – and elevate – our brand from the rest of the competition.Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high-level strategies to advance the foundation’s mission of improving lives and livelihoods in Taiwan, specifically in the areas of providing daily needs such food, shelter/housing, mental health, education and financial inclusion.
  • Understand DBS Foundation’s strategic priorities, and able to translate these into actionable plans with clear desired outcomes.
  • Lead the development of DBS Foundation programmes in Taiwan through working with external and internal partners, including defining outcomes, structuring impact measures and reports, and developing operational framework and evaluation criteria by following data-driven approach.
  • Engage closely with senior management to seek endorsement of the programme proposal and able to balance the local and regional need and expectation.
  • Work with the cross-functional team both in Taiwan and regionally, to execute local and regional programmes for DBS Foundation as well as develop integrated communications plans for advocacy internally and externally.
  • Continually enhance and streamline the volunteer journey to drive higher employee engagement.
  • Upon the launch of the programme, execute and manage the programme according to governance frameworks developed by regional; Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the project with a strong focus on impact measurement.
  • Leverage best practice and expertise from within and outside the Bank to drive DBS Foundation agenda and make it stronger. * 薪資待遇: 薪資面議(經常性薪資達4萬元含以上)

  • Requirements• Bachelor’s Degree (advanced degree preferred).• Minimum of 15 years of work experience in corporate social responsibility, social impact and philanthropy role in corporate, NGO, family foundation or government-related organization.• Strong understanding and passion for philanthropy and solving complex social and community related issues.• Strong sense of project ownership and embrace teamwork.• Strong knowledge of the philanthropic landscape in Taiwan and in the region.• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to build and shape relationships with diverse range of internal & external stakeholders.• Have a strong risk and governance mindset to ensure the programmes comply to all internal and external policies and standards.• Able to think out-of-the-box, and work independently in a lean team.• Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment.• Comfortable with data-driven operation model, looki
