Description du Poste
Le rôle de Physiothérapeute / Thérapeute du Sport à Hartpury Sports Academy consiste à fournir *des services de physiothérapie et de thérapie sportive de haute qualité* à des étudiants athlètes et à des patients de la clinique. Les principales responsabilités comprennent :
- Évaluation, diagnostic, traitement et réhabilitation des athlètes.
- Support médical sur le terrain lors des entraînements et des matchs, notamment dans la gestion des commotions cérébrales.
- Conception de stratégies de réhabilitation et de performance adaptées, en collaboration avec une équipe multidisciplinaire.
- Supervision et mentorat d’internes et d’étudiants de premier cycle.
- Maintien des dossiers cliniques précis et participation à des formations en service.
- Députisation pour le personnel senior et participation à des initiatives de développement professionnel.
Profil Recherché
Le candidat idéal devra posséder un ensemble de qualifications et d’expériences, notamment :
- Diplôme en Physiothérapie, Thérapie Sportive ou Réhabilitation Sportive.
- Membre de HCPC/CSP, SST ou BASRaT.
- Plus de 2 ans d’expérience post-diplôme, de préférence dans le sport professionnel, en clinique ou à l’hôpital.
- Compétences avérées auprès des athlètes en développement.
- Qualifications supplémentaires souhaitées (e.g., SMA L5, Acupuncture).
- Capacité à obtenir la certification RFU PHICIS L2 ou L3 dans les 6 semaines.
- Doit répondre aux exigences d’immunité contre l’hépatite B ou se conformer dans les 6 semaines.
- Excellentes compétences en communication et en motivation.
- Engagement envers la formation continue (CPD).
- Fiabilité, proactivité et capacité à s’adapter sous pression.

- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy or sports therapy services to student athletes and clinic patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation
- Provide pitch-side medical support during training and matches, and lead on concussion management and education across Hartpury teams
- Design tailored rehab and performance strategies, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise athlete care
- Supervise and mentor interns and undergraduate students, while maintaining accurate clinical records and contributing to in-service training and audits
- Support the continuity of service by deputising for senior therapy staff and participating in ongoing service and professional development initiatives
About You
- Degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, or Sports Rehabilitation
- Member of HCPC/CSP, SST, or BASRaT
- 2+ years post-grad experience, ideally in pro sport, clinic, or hospital
- Experience with developmental athletes
- Additional qualifications (e.g. SMA L5, Acupuncture) preferred
- RFU PHICIS L2 or L3, or able to obtain within 6 weeks
- Meets hepatitis B immunity requirements or can comply within 6 weeks
- Strong team player with excellent communication and motivational skills
- Committed to ongoing CPD
