Novartis, acteur majeur du secteur pharmaceutique, recherche un(e) leader dynamique pour piloter son équipe d’AI & Data Science au sein du groupe Data, Analytics, AI & Platforms (DAP). L’objectif principal de ce poste est de concevoir et déployer des solutions d’IA impactantes, visant à soutenir les stratégies commerciales au niveau international, régional et national.
Responsabilités Clés
Le titulaire du poste sera chargé de :
- Concevoir et livrer l’ensemble du portefeuille AI et Data Science pour la Commercial Launch Strategy (CLS) et International, Region & Countries (IRC).
- Développer une vision à long terme pour l’AI et Data Science, incluant la stratégie de capacité, la priorisation des ressources, le budget et le recrutement.
- Diriger une équipe de data scientists, tout en exploitant de manière innovante les données pour fournir des insights stratégiques sur la performance commerciale.
- Collaborer avec des équipes locales pour personnaliser les solutions tout en assurant une standardisation nécessaire à l’implémentation à grande échelle.
- Travailler en partenariat avec plusieurs équipes financières et commerciales afin d’identifier des opportunités et de traduire ces solutions en impacts concrets.
Exigences Essentielles
Les candidats idéaux devront satisfaire aux critères suivants :
- Diplôme de deuxième cycle (idéalement MSc/PhD) dans un domaine quantitatif tel que l’IA, la Data Science ou l’ingénierie.
- Minimum de 10 ans d’expérience en data science, analytics ou dans un rôle similaire, avec au moins 5 ans dans les secteurs pharmaceutique, biotechnologique ou de la santé.
- Expertise confirmée des jeux de données pharmaceutiques et des cas d’utilisation spécifiques.
- Capacités avérées en gestion d’équipes d’analytique, avec une forte inclination pour le développement et le mentorat des collaborateurs.
- Connaissance approfondie des processus de commercialisation dans le secteur pharmaceutique et une expérience significative en analytics de terrain, marketing et vente.
Exigences Souhaitables
Les compétences additionnelles suivantes seraient appréciées :
- Expérience pratique en AI, GenAI, et deep learning, ainsi qu’une capacité à appliquer ces compétences à l’analytique avancée dans le domaine pharmaceutique.
- Savoir-faire en cloud computing, architectures de big data et intégration d’AI dans des solutions marketing.

You’ll lead a team of expert data scientists and be accountable for the end-to-end strategy, delivery, and performance of AI initiatives.If you bring deep expertise in AI, GenAI, and ML—from concept to operations—and a passion for delivering business value through innovation, we’d love to hear from you.Job DescriptionLocation: Barcelona, Spain #LI-HybridKey Responsibilities:Accountable for E2E design and deliverables of the whole AI and Data Science portfolio for CLS (Commercial Launch Strategy) and IRC (International, Region & Countries).Accountable for E2E long-term AI & Data Science vision, capability strategy, resource prioritization, budget, recruitment and planning.Lead the AI & Data Science team to support data-driven decision-making by innovatively leveraging data and technologies to provide objective, actionable and strategic insights on business performance and opportunitiesAccountable for strategizing, building, deploying and operating commercial AI and Data Science products.Work closely with country data and analytics teams to carefully customize the AI & Data Science for local needs while preserving standardization for implementing AI & Data Science at scale and speedPartner with Data, Analytics Marketing Platforms teams, other CLS teams, IRC, S&G, DDIT, BSI, and other commercial teams to identify key opportunities and issues, manage AI and Data Science solutions, and translate the solutions and outcomes to business partners to drive tangible business impacts.Lead a team of data scientists with deep analytical expertise and understanding of Pharma use cases.Accountable and responsible to plan and manage budget, resources, timelines of the AI and Data Science solutions lifecycles and change management.Essential Requirements:Graduate degree (ideally MSc/PhD) in a quantitative field (AI, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, IT, etc.)10 years of experience in data science, analytics, marketing science, or a similar role.5+ years of Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Healthcare and Consumer experience in analytics.
