- Shape and execute integrated strategies across communications, brand, and public affairs.
- Advise senior leadership on reputation, policy, and stakeholder engagement.
External & Corporate Communication
- Oversee media relations, digital presence, CSR, and brand consistency.
- Ensure messaging aligns with industry standards and public health impact.
Public Affairs & Policy Engagement
- Lead government relations and public policy strategies.
- Build strong networks with policymakers and industry bodies.
Disease & Health Communication
- Drive campaigns around disease awareness and education.
- Collaborate with medical and marketing teams for accuracy and compliance.
Internal Comms & Employer Brand
- Manage internal channels to inform and engage employees.
- Support initiatives that strengthen employer branding.
Crisis Management & Leadership
- Lead issue response and act as spokesperson during critical events.
- Build and lead a high-performing team; manage functional budgets.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years in senior roles covering communications, corporate affairs, and government relations, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated strategies in highly regulated environments.
- Strong ability to translate complex medical and scientific information into clear, accessible messaging.
- Proven experience in media relations and managing high-pressure crisis communication.
- In-depth understanding of healthcare policy, public affairs, and regulatory frameworks.
- Confident engaging with C-suite executives, government officials, media, advocacy groups, and healthcare professionals.
- Skilled in internal communications and enhancing employer branding.
- Effective, inclusive leader with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Professional, adaptable, and operates with integrity and discretion.
