Description du Poste

Fortum recherche un(e) Head of Engineering pour son secteur Wind and Solar. Ce rôle stratégique implique de diriger une équipe d’ingénieurs talentueux, tout en participant activement à la croissance de l’entreprise. Les responsabilités incluent :

Gestion de l’ingénierie et des spécifications techniques pour des projets solaires, éoliens et hybrides.
Optimisation technique et économique des projets.
Supervision de la qualité et des relations avec les fournisseurs.
Collaboration avec des partenaires industriels et équipes de R&D.
Développement de stratégies à court et à long terme pour l’équipe d’ingénierie.

Le poste est basé à Espoo, Finlande ou à Solna, Suède, avec un rapport hiérarchique direct à la direction d’ingénierie et de technologie.

Profil Recherché

Le candidat idéal doit :

Posséder une excellente capacité à motiver et diriger une équipe diverse.
Avoir d’excellentes compétences en communication et en Négociation.
Adopter une approche axée sur le service et la priorisation.
Faire preuve d’un esprit de croissance et d’adaptabilité.
Avoir un solide bagage dans les projets d’énergie renouvelable, avec une connaissance pointue des domaines éoliens et solaires.

La maîtrise de l’anglais est requise, tandis que des compétences supplémentaires en finnois, suédois ou norvégien seront valorisées. Le candidat devra être prêt à voyager à l’échelle nordique et internationale.

Wind and solar power play a crucial role in the decarbonization of our societies, and our vision is to be a leading player and employer of choice in the Nordic sector.The Wind and Solar Engineering&Technology-tribe (E&T) takes responsibility for the engineering of all solar and wind projects at Fortum and acts as the technical centre of excellence supporting project development, construction and operations.As one of the three teams in the E&T-tribe, the Engineering team is fundamental in providing engineering solutions for all utility-scale solar, wind and hybrid projects, together with the colleagues from other teams. Our team is the engineering heart of Fortum’s wind and solar projects – driving innovation and excellence in every aspect of our work.About the roleThe purpose of the role is to lead the wind and solar Engineering team at Fortum. Today, the team consists of ten industry-leading and highly motivated talents. The team will in the future continue to grow.The main responsibility areas of the role include:

Wind, solar PV, civil, EPCs, BESS and Grid disciplines center of excellence for our wind and solar business unit through full project value chain.
Engineering and technical specification of all solar PV, wind and hybrid projects.
Techno-economic optimization and continuous competitive technical value-added implementations for our projects.
Center of excellence for engineering and quality assurance from EPC, wind, solar and BESS procured goods supervision.
Wind, Solar PV, BESS, EPC, BOS and BOP supplier’s technology assessments and partnering evaluation, technical contracts negotiations and selection supervision.
Active co-operation with industry partners RDI and technology teams.
Developing and managing the Engineering team’s short-term and long-term strategies, setting its KPIs, budget and growth forecast.
Act as M&A Technical Due Diligences technical support.

The primary location of the position is in our office in Espoo, Finland or in Solna, Sweden. This role will be reporting to the Director Engineering and Technology and is a member of the Engineering and technology department leadership team.About youAs Head of Engineering, Wind and Solar, you need to be able to work diligently with the wind and solar engineering and technology leadership team, lead engineering team, cross-unit colleagues and external partners in collaborations. You are passionate about renewable energy and the energy transition. You have extensive experience in leading renewable energy projects and teams – with a focus on utility-scale wind, solar-PV and BESS. You have a strong wind and solar commercial and technical understanding.
