Description du Poste

Dans le cadre du projet intitulé * »Développement d’un Système Analytique Intelligent avec Technologie IoT pour le Tarif de Rentrée d’Énergie Renouvelable dans une Zone Agricole Suburbaine »*, le candidat sélectionné travaillera principalement sur les responsabilités suivantes :

• Conception et validation : Développer des modèles multi-physiques coupleés pour les systèmes agrivoltaïques et éoliens.
• Déploiement de systèmes IoT : Installer des dispositifs de surveillance intelligente pour les cultures et la production d’énergie.
• Optimisation par apprentissage machine : Appliquer des algorithmes pour améliorer la production d’énergie et l’efficacité des coûts.
• Réalisation d’expériences : Collecter des données à l’aide de capteurs IoT concernant l’humidité du sol et d’autres paramètres environnementaux.
• Collaboration interdisciplinaire : Travailler avec des équipes composées d’ingénieurs, d’agronomes et d’économistes.
• Documentation : Maintenir une documentation détaillée et publier des résultats dans des revues académiques.

Profil Recherché

Pour postuler, les candidats doivent satisfaire aux critères suivants :

• Niveau académique : Diplôme d’études secondaires (HKDSE) avec au moins 5 sujets à niveau 2 ou un diplôme pertinent (pour Assistant Technique).
• Bachelor : Diplôme en ingénierie, informatique, science environnementale ou domaine connexe (pour Research Assistant II).
• Master : Diplôme supérieur en disciplines similaires est requis (pour Research Assistant I).
• Expérience antérieure : Des connaissances en IoT, énergie renouvelable ou agriculture intelligente sont préférées.

Les compétences souhaitées incluent :

• Programmation : Compétences en Python, MATLAB ou C++ pour la modélisation et l’analyse des données.
• IoT et matériel : Expérience avec les réseaux de capteurs, Arduino/Raspberry Pi.
• Analyse de données : Familiarité avec les outils statistiques et les frameworks de machine learning.
• Communication : Capacité à expliquer des concepts techniques à des audiences non techniques.
• Responsabilité : Sens de l’organisation et compétences interpersonnelles.

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

• Designing and validating coupled multi-physics models for agrivoltaics-wind systems under subtropical microclimates;
• Deploying IoT-enabled smart monitoring systems for crops, livestock, and renewable energy generation;
• Implementing machine learning algorithms to optimize energy generation, agricultural productivity, and cost-efficiency;
• Conducting experiments and collecting data using IoT sensors (e.g., soil moisture, solar irradiance, wind speed);
• Optimizing resource allocation (e.g., sunlight, ventilation) between energy and agricultural outputs;
• Collaborating effectively with cross-disciplinary teams, including engineers, agronomists, and economists; and
• Maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations and operational procedures, and publishing research findings in peer-reviewed conferences and journals.

CandidatesCandidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• At least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics / Diploma (for Technical Assistant);
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Agricultural), Computer Science, Environmental Science, or a related discipline; (for Research Assistant II);
• Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Agricultural), Computer Science, Environmental Science, or a related discipline; (for Research Assistant I);
• Candidates with prior research experience in IoT, renewable energy, or smart agriculture are highly desirable;
• Candidates with the following skills are preferred;

• Programming: Python, MATLAB, or C++ for modelling and data analysis;
• IoT & Hardware: Sensor networks, Arduino/Raspberry Pi, and wireless protocols (LoRa, ZigBee, NB-IoT);
• Data Analytics: Machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, scikit-learn) and statistical tools (R, Excel);
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with photovoltaic systems, wind energy, and agricultural microclimates;
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
• A strong sense of responsibility, coupled with effective organizational and interpersonal skills; and
