Description du Poste
Dans le cadre de son développement, Standard Chartered recrute un Trade Operations Specialist pour intégrer son équipe de Trade Documentary. Ce rôle est crucial pour l’exécution efficace des transactions commerciales internationales, et inclut la gestion de la documentation, la coordination des tâches opérationnelles et l’assurance que les flux de travail respectent les régulations en vigueur.
L’équipe de Trade Documentary joue un rôle essentiel dans la stratégie de la banque, gérant des transactions à l’échelle mondiale et minimisant les risques associés.
Responsabilités Clés
Les missions attribuées à ce poste comprennent :
- Livraison de services : Garantir une prestation de services de haute qualité, en dépassant les attentes des clients.
- Gestion des transactions : Libération des accords conformément aux instructions opérationnelles et aux normes de précision.
- Contrôle des limites : S’assurer que les transactions respectent les limites approuvées de manière continue.

Compétences et Expérience Requises
Les candidats intéressés doivent posséder :
- Une expérience significative en opérations de financement du commerce dans une banque ou une institution financière.
- Une expertise en vérification de documents selon les lettres de crédit.
- Une solide compréhension des produits de financement du commerce.
- Des certifications pertinentes telles que le Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS) ou le Certificate for Specialists in Demand Guarantees (CSDG).
- Une connaissance des réglementations anti-blanchiment d’argent (AML) et des sanctions.
- Une familiarité avec les systèmes et technologies de financement du commerce.

You’ll support the execution of international trade transactions by processing documentation, coordinating operational tasks and ensuring smooth and compliant trade workflows.You’ll be a key part of our Trade Documentary team, who are responsible for supporting the efficient execution of Trade Finance operations within the Bank. The team are vitally important to the Bank’s core strategy, handling transactions globally and minimising risk. - You’ll be ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services, exceeding customer expectations and working accurately and efficiently, showcasing good business processes and sound judgement.
- You’ll release deals as per the departmental operating instructions manual, customer instructions and within the timeliness and accuracy standards specified.
- Ensure transactions are handled with in the allocated approved limits at all times, on a continual basis.
- Understand our workflows and processes, and prioritise transactions based on business and client requests.
Skills & Experience
- Significant prior experience in trade finance operations within a banking or financial institution.
- Experience document checking under letter of credit.
- Strong understanding of Trade Finance products, including export negotiations, guarantees and documentary collections.
- Relevant trade certification such as a Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists. (CDCS), Certificate for Specialists in Demand Guarantees (CSDG), or Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF).
- Knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) & sanctions.
- Familiarity with Trade Finance systems and technologies.
