Description du poste
En tant que **Senior BI Backend Developer**, vous jouerez un rôle central dans la gestion des outils de Business Intelligence (BI) de KOSTAL. Cette position offre une flexibilité de travail à distance, avec une présence sporadique au bureau selon les besoins des équipes et des projets.
Tâches et responsabilités clés
- Détailler les conceptions de solution en étroite collaboration avec les architectes de solutions.
- Créer des flux de données SAP-BW, des modèles de données et des vues CDS.
- Développer des extracteurs pour les applications SAP et non-SAP.
- Mettre en œuvre de petites routines en ABAP.
- Rédiger des demandes de programmation pour l’équipe de développement interne ou des programmeurs externes.
- Superviser des consultants externes et/ou des développeurs.
- Participer au projet de déploiement S/4Hana / BW4Hana.
Qualifications requises
Formation
- Diplôme universitaire en informatique ou dans un domaine similaire.
Expérience professionnelle
- Minimum de 8 ans d’expérience dans le domaine de la BI.
Compétences techniques
- Expertise en SAP BWonHANA : Connaissances approfondies de l’architecture et de la modélisation des données.
- Modélisation des données SAP HANA : Compétences en SQL et HANA Script (optionnel).
- Intégration de données : Capacité à intégrer des données provenant de divers systèmes sources.
- Développement ABAP : Expérience en personnalisations mineures dans le contexte SAP BW.
- Outils de reporting : Familiarité avec SAP Analytics Cloud et d’autres outils de front-end intégrés à BW.
- Expérience en projets : Participation à des projets d’implémentation, de migration et d’optimisation dans le domaine de SAP BW.
- Compréhension des processus métiers : Familiarité avec divers modules SAP et capacité à traduire des exigences commerciales en solutions techniques.

Technical conditions for working from home are fully in place.Job DescriptionAt KOSTAL we are running individual important BI tools. In this role we need an Senior BI backend developer who is capable to maintain the tools while provide support and guidance to the users.Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:
- Detailing the solution design in close cooperation with our solution architects.
- Creation of SAP-BW data flows, data models and CDS views.
- Extractor creation/development to SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Implementation of smaller routines in ABAP.
- Creation of programming requests for our internal development team or for external programmers.
- Steering of external consultants and/or developers.
Participation in our S/4Hana / BW4Hana rollout projectQualificationsExperiences and requirements:Education:
- University degree within IT or similar
Work experiences – time/seniority/ sector:
- At least 8 years of experience in BI world
Technical/ IT knowledge:Expertise in SAP BWonHANA
- Strong knowledge of SAPBWonHANA architecture and data modeling.
- Experience with ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and SAP HANA Calculation Views.
SAP HANA Data Modeling (not a must)
- Proficiency in native SAP HANA data modeling.
- Skills in SQL and HANA Script.
ETL Processes and Data Integration
- Ability to integrate data from various source systems (both SAP and non-SAP).
ABAP Development
- Experience with ABAP particularly for minor custom developments in the SAP BW context (e.g., routines, user exits).
Experience with Reporting Tools
- Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Analysis for Office, or other frontend tools integrated with BW.
Project Experience
- Experience with implementation, migration, and optimization projects in the SAP BW domain.
- Ability to design and execute end-to-end architectures.
Understanding of Business Processes
- Familiarity with various SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD(preferred), MM, PP, or HR and their data models in BW.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Agile and Traditional Project Management
- Experience working in agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) as well as traditional waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating technical documentation and specifications.
- Experience with both automated and manual testing processes.
Documentation and TestingLanguage – with level
- Fluent English
- Other languages as per role requirement
