Description du Poste
Le rôle de Hostess constitue une partie essentielle de l’expérience client au sein du Novotel. Les responsabilités principales se répartissent en plusieurs catégories :
Responsabilités Administratives
- *Maintenir et mettre à jour les dossiers d’historique des invités du restaurant.*
- *Tenir un livre de réservations clair et à jour.*
- *Coordonner l’impression des menus des restaurants en liaison avec le responsable.*
Responsabilités Opérationnelles
- *Offrir un service exceptionnel et professionnel aux invités à tout moment.*
- *Être familiarisé avec tous les articles du menu de l’établissement.*
- *Gérer les demandes spéciales des clients concernant les tables.*
- *Maintenir la propreté de l’entrée et de la station d’accueil.*
- *Accueillir et placer les invités avec professionnalisme et organisation.*
- *Collaborer avec les autres employés et services de manière flexible.*
- *Prendre les réservations et gérer les attributions de tables.*
- *Traiter les demandes des invités avec courtoisie et efficacité.*
Responsabilités Personnelles
- *Respecter strictement les règles et régulations énoncées dans le manuel de l’employé.*
- *Être ponctuel et porter l’uniforme approprié avec badge nominatif.*
- *Entretenir de bonnes relations de travail avec le personnel.*
- *Contribuer aux réunions et formations organisées par l’hôtel.*
- *Faire preuve d’attitude positive et de contrôle de soi.*
Autres Responsabilités
- *Être préparé à assumer différentes tâches selon les besoins de l’hôtel.*
- *Maintenir une apparence personnelle soignée et respecter les normes de coiffure et d’hygiène.*
- *Adhérer aux normes de sécurité, d’hygiène et de santé.*
- *Répondre à toute modification des tâches selon les exigences de service.*
Qualifications Requises
- *Expérience pertinente en tant qu’hôtesse ou dans un rôle similaire.*
- *Diplôme en gestion hôtelière ou domaine connexe.*
- *Compétences en communication et en engagement client excellentes.*
- *Capacités de résolution de problèmes et d’écoute active.*
- *Disponibilité pour travailler des horaires flexibles.*
- *Maîtrise de l’anglais requise.*

- To maintain and update the restaurant guest history records.
- To maintain a legible and up-to-date reservation book.
- To type and co-ordinate the printing of all restaurant menus in liaison with the outlet Manager.
Operational
- To deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional, friendly, courteous and professional guest service at all times.
- To be familiar with all food and beverage items on the outlet menu.
- To be flexible wherever possible in meeting special requests from guests for specific table assignments or other requests.
- To maintain the entrance area and hostess station in a clean and orderly manner at all times..
- To greet and seat guests in a professional and organized manner and offer the menu cards after seating.
- To work in a supportive and flexible manner with other employees and other departments.
- To treat all operating equipments and supplies carefully to minimize damage and reduce wastage.
- To take reservations and manage table assignments for the outlet.
- To follow all telephone usage guidelines while conversing with guests on the phone.
- To wish guests farewell as they leave the restaurant.
- To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.
.Personnel
- To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
- To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
- To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the outlet and all other departments.
- To attend and contribute to all staff meetings Departmental and Hotel training as scheduled and other related activities.
- To project at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self control.
- To have a complete understanding of the Income Audit Section in the Operations Manual and Policies & Procedures.
Other Duties
- To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag.
- To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards.
- To have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations and in particular the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
- To comply with local legislation as required.
- To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the hotel.
- To be flexible in the job function and perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which may be assigned, including redeployment to other departments/areas if required, in order to meet business demands and guest service needs.
- To attend training sessions and meetings as and when required.

- Relevant experience as a F&B Hostess or similar is an asset
- Diploma/ BS degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
- Excellent communication skills & guest engagement skills
- Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Proficiency in English
