Qualifications Requises

Pour postuler, le candidat idéal doit posséder les compétences et expériences suivantes :

• 2 à 3 ans d’expérience en tant qu’ingénieur dans un hôtel.
• Excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite.
• Capacité à manipuler des objets pesant jusqu’à 50 livres.
• Compétences en communication amicales et orientées service.
• Fiabilité et attention exceptionnelle aux détails.
• Connaissances en HVAC, électricité, plomberie, et opérations de chaudière.
• Compréhension des réglementations et normes de sécurité.
• Capacité à travailler dans un environnement en constante évolution.
• Éthique de travail solide et approche client centrée.
• Disponibilité pour un emploi à horaire flexible.

Responsabilités Essentielles

Le rôle d’un hôtelier/investigateur en maintenance inclut diverses responsabilités essentielles :

• Assistance dans l’exploitation, la réparation et l’entretien des chambres, espaces communs et systèmes centraux.
• Réponse rapide aux ordres de travail liés à la maintenance.
• Entretien général des installations de l’hôtel, y compris la structure physique, les systèmes mécaniques, électriques, HVAC, et technologiques.
• Suivre le programme de maintenance préventive pour tous les équipements de l’établissement.
• Gestion de l’inventaire de maintenance en ce qui concerne équipements et fournitures.
• Réaliser des inspections régulières des chambres et espaces publics.
• Respecter le programme de sécurité incendie de l’établissement.
• Assurer la conformité avec les lois locales, étatiques et fédérales.
• Coordonner avec des prestataires externes et entrepreneurs.
• Faciliter la formation des associés selon les normes hôtelières.
• Assistance dans des projets spéciaux et rénovations.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL

• 2 to 3 years experience in a Engineer role in a hotel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
• Ability to communicate with coworkers and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
• Responsible & reliable with exceptional attention to detail
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations, and general maintenance experience are required
• Knowledge of regulations and safety standards
• Ability to work in an ever-changing environment
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong work ethic and client-focused approach
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be passionate and dedicated to success

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in operating, repairing, and maintaining guest rooms, common areas, and central systems
• Ensure timely responses to maintenance work orders
• General maintenance of the hotel facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and technological systems
• Follow preventive maintenance program for all building equipment, public areas, and guest rooms
• Maintain maintenance inventory control as it relates to equipment and supplies
• Conduct routine inspections and walk-throughs of all hotel rooms and public areas
• Follow the property Fire Safety program
• Assist with hotel compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
• Rectify any building, code, or fire violations promptly
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors and provide timely status updates as needed
• Facilitate the training and development of all associates to hotel standards
• Assist as necessary with special projects and renovation
