Le rôle de HV Substation Commissioner est un poste technique hautement spécialisé au sein de l’ESB (Electricity Supply Board). Le commissaire de sous-station HV est responsable de la vérification que l’équipement primaire, secondaire, de protection et de contrôle répond aux exigences de spécification et est prêt à être connecté au réseau de l’ESB.
Responsabilités Clés
Au sein de ce rôle, le candidat sera amené à :
- Évaluer la sécurité du site avant de s’engager dans des activités de mise en service, et coordonner le calendrier de travail avec le personnel sur site.
- Assister au développement d’évaluations de risques spécifiques au site et de déclarations de méthode (RAMS) pour les projets.
- Mettre en service l’équipement HV et MV conformément à la politique de mise en service et aux standards établis.
- Vérifier fonctionnellement les conceptions de schémas de protection pour garantir leur conformité avec les normes de conception approuvées.
- Planifier et livrer des projets de mise en service, tout en maintenant la documentation requise par les standards de mise en service.
- Contribuer aux investigations de pannes et aux rapports associés.
Qualifications et Expérience
Compétences Essentielles :
- Qualification professionnelle de niveau supérieur en ingénierie ou expérience pertinente équivalente.
- Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience pertinente.
- Connaissance des standards et principes de mise en service.
- Compréhension des systèmes de transport et de distribution.
- Expérience opérationnelle dans la gestion de sous-stations.
- Excellente connaissance des règles de l’ESB pour le travail dans les sous-stations HV.
- Bons connaissances des principes de protection des systèmes énergétiques.
- Capacité à travailler au sein d’une équipe performante.
Compétences Souhaitables :
- Possession d’un permis de conduire valide.
Localisation et Conditions de Travail
Le lieu de base sera déterminé en concertation avec le candidat retenu. Le rôle nécessitera des déplacements. L’ESB encourage des méthodes de travail flexibles, intégrant le télétravail et la collaboration en personne selon les accords passés avec le manager.
Rémunération et Avantages
Solde : €48,000 à €56,000 par an

📝 Description du poste : Position DescriptionHV substation commissioning is a highly specialised technical role. The principal role of a Commissioner is to verify that primary, secondary, protection and control equipment meets the specification requirements and is in a fit state to be connected to the ESB system.Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment of site safety prior to engaging in commissioning activities and coordinate the work schedule with site staff as appropriate. Assist in developing site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for projects.Commission HV and MV equipment in line with the Commissioning Policy, specifications and the Commissioning Standard.Commission control and protection equipment in line with the Commissioning Policy, specifications and the Commissioning Standard.Complete functional verification of protection scheme designs and confirm compliance with approved design standards, elementaries, specifications and Commissioning Standard.Coordinate, plan, and deliver commissioning projects.Create and maintain commissioning records as required by the Commissioning Standard.Assist in the continual development of commissioning procedures, test plans and test reports.Contribute to fault investigations and reporting.Experience and QualificationsEssentialAn appropriate third level professional qualification (Engineering) or equivalent and relevant experience.Minimum 3 years’ relevant experienceKnowledge of commissioning standards, principles and procedures.Knowledge of commissioning of Transmission and Distribution Systems.Knowledge and experience of operational procedures and the operation of substations.Knowledge of the design and operating mechanisms of primary plant.Knowledge of specific Operations Technology, e.g. SCADA, OMS.Knowledge of ESB Networks Assets and ESB Networks business.Good knowledge of ESB Networks rules for work in HV Substations.Good knowledge of HV Substation design and processes.Knowledge of power system protection principles, protection devices and associated software applications.Ability to work as part of a high-performance team.Desirable
