Description du poste
Dans le cadre de vos fonctions, vous serez intégré à une équipe dédiée aux recherches et produits AR/MR. Ce groupe est axé sur la mise en avant des technologies de pointe, combinant le traitement d’image, la vision par ordinateur et l’apprentissage automatique. Votre mission inclura :
- Développer des algorithmes en traitement d’image et vision par ordinateur, alliant apprentissage automatique et approches classiques.
- Créer des modèles d’apprentissage automatique optimisés pour le matériel d’imagerie spécialisé, visant l’efficacité énergétique et la scalabilité.
- Exécuter des modèles ML, incluant formation, optimisation et analyse des résultats.
- Évaluer la qualité d’image et de vidéo par des méthodes objectives et subjectives.
- Collaborer avec les équipes hardware pour co-concevoir des algorithmes performants.
Qualifications Minimales
Les candidats doivent répondre aux critères suivants :
- En cours d’obtention ou détenteur d’un Bachelor et d’un PhD en Informatique, Génie Électrique, apprentissage automatique, vision par ordinateur ou domaine connexe.
- Expérience dans le développement d’algorithmes avancés dédiés aux applications d’imagerie.
- Maîtrise des langages Python, MATLAB et C++.
- Connaissance des frameworks d’apprentissage automatique tels que PyTorch ou TensorFlow.
- Autorisation de travail requise.
Qualifications Privilégiées
Le candidat idéal aura également :
- Un historique de publications significatives dans des conférences de renom en imagerie et vision par ordinateur.
- Une expérience dans la conception d’algorithmes optimisés pour du matériel spécialisé (GPUs, DSP, ASIC).
- Une compréhension des métriques de qualité d’image et des méthodologies d’évaluation.
Conditions de Travail et Rémunération
Le poste est basé à Sunnyvale, CA, avec un salaire compris entre 114 000 $US et 166 000 $US, sans prendre en compte les bonus et avantages associés. La rémunération est déterminée sur la base des compétences, qualifications et localisations géographiques.

We are combining ML and classic algorithms to achieve product requirements.Image Processing and Machine Learning Engineer (PhD) ResponsibilitiesDevelop algorithms for image processing and computer vision that are based on machine learning and classic approachesDevelop machine learning models that interact efficiently with specialized imaging hardware, optimizing for performance, energy efficiency, and scalabilityRun ML models, including training, optimization, and analysis of resultsPerform image and video quality evaluations using both objective and subjective methodsBuild new tools and workflows for evaluating and improving the visual quality and computational efficiency of vision systemsCollaborate with hardware teams to co-design algorithms that leverage specialized accelerators or custom silicon for optimized performanceMinimum QualificationsCurrently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
