Responsabilités Générales
Le candidat retenu sera responsable de diverses tâches comprenant :
- Préparer des analyses détaillées, des conceptions et des livrables projet tels que des dessins, spécifications et rapports pour les infrastructures maritimes.
- Établir des critères de conception et des spécifications de construction.
- Effectuer des estimations de coûts et préparer des prises de quantité.
- Conduire des travaux sur le terrain et apporter un soutien durant la construction.
- Participer aux réunions de coordination de projets et collaborer avec les équipes projet, les clients et les agences d’approbation.
- Encadrer et diriger le personnel junior.
- Encourager une culture axée sur la sécurité.
Qualifications Requises
Pour postuler, le candidat doit remplir les conditions suivantes :
- Diplôme en ingénierie civile d’une institution accréditée.
- 5 à 10 ans d’expérience en ingénierie des structures marines.
- Enregistré ou éligible à l’enregistrement en tant qu’ingénieur professionnel.
- Expérience en conception et inspection de structures maritimes.
- Compétences exceptionnelles en gestion du temps et communication.

- Prepare detailed analysis, design, and project deliverables including drawings, specifications and reports for general marine terminal infrastructure.
- Prepare design criteria and construction specifications.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and assist in the preparation of capital cost estimates.
- Conduct field work and support during construction.
- Attend project coordination meetings and liaise with project team members, clients, sub-consultants, contractors and regulatory and environmental approval agencies.
- Liaise with clients to determine client requirements and prepare proposals, design work cost estimate, and project scheduling.
- Mentor/direct junior staff and review their works.
- Actively encourage and support a safety-oriented culture.
- Travel as required for various field programs.
QualificationsQualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- 5-10 years prior experience in marine structural engineering/research, or a related discipline.
- Registered or eligibility for registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Design and inspection experience in marine structures including docks, marinas, ports, piers, steel sheet pile structures, steel, timber and concrete pile structures, floating structures and waterfront facilities.
- Experience in large scale industrial and maritime projects.
- Port layout and planning experience.
- Experience with tides, currents, wave and wind forces.
- Experience with berthing, mooring, and passing ship analysis.
- Experience with seismic design, structural analysis software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal).
