Our brands include Bloomingdale’s, Harvey Nichols, and Armani, to name just a few!Job PurposeTo manage and monitor inventory and stock holdings by minimizing system stock issues, controlling stock movements, and implementing procedures to ensure minimal discrepancies. Oversee returns, conduct investigations, and deliver accurate reporting to support business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Operational OversightAct as the custodian of business inventory, responsible for overall inventory management operationsOptimize warehouse storage space through ABC and heat map analysisCollaborate with Loss Prevention to implement stock loss action plansReview damage trends and create mitigation strategiesSupport shrinkage analysis and reduction planningEnsure timeliness and accuracy of inventory transactionsInventory Management & ControlsInvestigate inventory discrepancies from cycle counts or picking operations and take corrective actionsOversee stock transfers across warehouses and stores ensuring proper system updatesCoordinate returns to suppliers with Buying & Finance teamsMaintain logs for credit notes, RTVs, and system adjustments, and ensure accurate submission to FinanceMonitor daily transactions and ensure all discrepancies are logged and resolved appropriatelyManage the perpetual stock take calendar and ensure compliance across locationsTrack expiry and obsolete stock, prepare visibility reports, and coordinate disposal or RTVLead and audit physical stock counts, review findings, and prepare recommendationsReporting & AnalysisShare monthly shrinkage data with stakeholders and provide final reportsProvide regular updates on stock movements, pending transfers, and cycle countsSubmit insights and trends to management for strategic planningPeople Management & HSECoach and develop team members to ensure high performance and succession readinessReview operations with a risk management perspective and escalate concerns to the HSE committeeMaintain compliance with company HSE standards and proactively promote safe practicesCommunicate performance updates and brief teams on key operational developmentsFoster a positive work culture to reduce attrition and absenteeismEducation & Certification RequirementsGraduate degree with strong knowledge in warehousing and inventory managementExperience Requirements3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing and inventory managementExperience in e-commerce or retail logistics environments preferredKnowledge & SkillsComputer literacy and advanced MS Excel skillsKnowledge of Oracle WMS preferredHighly organized with strong attention to detailAnalytical, with strong communication and interpersonal skillsFluent in EnglishAdditional Information
