Description du Poste
Le Business Development Manager sera responsable de :
- Atteindre les objectifs de revenu pour Confirmation au Japon.
- Élaborer et exécuter des stratégies de mise sur le marché pour propulser l’adoption de la plateforme au sein des cabinets d’audit japonais.
- Conduire des démarches structurées auprès des principaux cabinets d’audit et banques, en s’appuyant sur des réseaux internes et personnels.
- Éduquer les clients sur les avantages des confirmations d’audit électroniques par rapport aux processus manuels.
- Gérer et développer un portefeuille de clients clés en favorisant des relations solides pour maximiser la rétention et l’expansion.
- Prospecter de nouveaux clients, réaliser des démonstrations de produits convaincantes, négocier des accords et conclure des deals.
- Collaborer avec les équipes internes, notamment ventes, marketing et support client, pour garantir une expérience client optimale.
- Rester informé sur les tendances du marché, le paysage concurrentiel et les exigences réglementaires au Japon.
- Maintenir des données client précises dans les systèmes de gestion CRM et effectuer des analyses régulières des succès et des échecs.
Profil Recherché
Le candidat idéal pour ce poste doit posséder :
- Une maîtrise parfaite du japonais et de l’anglais, accompagnée de solides compétences en communication et présentation.
- Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en développement commercial, vente ou gestion de comptes dans des secteurs tels que le SaaS, les services financiers ou la technologie B2B.
- Un diplôme en comptabilité/commerce – de préférence un CA/CPA.
- Un historique éprouvé de dépassement des objectifs de vente.
- Une compréhension approfondie des cabinets d’audit et des institutions financières au Japon.
- La capacité à établir confiance et crédibilité auprès des parties prenantes senior.
- Une approche centrée sur le client, un sens commercial aigu, ainsi que la capacité à identifier et poursuivre de nouvelles opportunités.
- De bonnes compétences en collaboration et un fonctionnement efficace au sein d’équipes régionales et globales.
- Une expérience de l’utilisation d’outils CRM comme Salesforce pour la gestion de pipeline et le reporting.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager in our Audit Segment who will play a key role in securing new business and delivering sales, both with new customers and within existing accounts.This role requires subject matter expertise, structured in alignment with specific propositions, and will focus on growing the Confirmation business in Japan. The Business Development Manager will engage with key decision-makers across audit firms and financial institutions to expand the use of Confirmation’s electronic audit confirmation platform. The key priorities are new business development, client relationship management, and expanding Confirmation’s presence in the Japanese market to meet and exceed revenue targets.About the RoleIn this opportunity as Business Development Manager, you will:
- Own and achieve revenue targets for Confirmation in Japan.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive adoption of Confirmation’s platform in Japanese audit firms and bring on board financial institutions in our network.
- Conduct structured outreach to the top audit firms and banks, leveraging internal and your own networks for referrals and introductions.
- Educate and consult with clients on the benefits of electronic audit confirmations over manual processes.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key customers, fostering strong relationships to drive retention and expansion.
- Prospect new clients, deliver compelling product demonstrations, negotiate agreements and close deals.
- Work closely with internal teams, including other Sales colleagues, Marketing, Customer Support and Product, to align strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Stay up to date on market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements in Japan to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in CRM systems and conduct regular win/loss analyses.
About YouYou’re a fit for the role of Business Development Manager if you have the following required qualifications:
- Fluency in both Japanese and English, with strong communication and presentation skills.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within SaaS, financial services, or B2B technology.
- Accounting/Commerce Degree – Preferred CA/CPA
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- A strong understanding of audit firms and financial institutions in Japan and their business processes.
- The ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders at banks and audit firms.
- A customer-centric approach, commercial acumen, and the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with regional and global teams.
- Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce for pipeline management and reporting.
