À propos du rôle

Liferay est à la recherche d’un Project Manager expérimenté, désireux de mettre ses compétences en pratique sur des projets concrets. Ce poste requiert une capacité à favoriser le bien-être des équipes tout en gérant les attentes des parties prenantes. Les responsabilités incluent la gestion des opérations quotidiennes des projets de support, avec un objectif de livraison réussie et dans les délais.

Responsabilités principales

• Collaborer avec l’équipe pour gérer les escalades de projets, faciliter les discussions et résoudre les conflits.
• Communiquer clairement les objectifs de réussite du projet aux membres de l’équipe et travailler avec la direction client à l’élaboration d’un plan détaillé.
• Définir et analyser les exigences des clients tout en assurant un suivi régulier et des rapports d’avancement.
• Faciliter le suivi des progrès de l’équipe et lever les obstacles rencontrés lors des projets.
• Suivre la méthodologie de services de Liferay pour gérer les risques et les problèmes de projet.
• Coordonner les tâches et les horaires selon les phases et les priorités du projet.
• Collaborer avec les équipes de projet pour planifier et coordonner les activités de publication.
• Documenter les exigences commerciales et techniques en collaboration étroite avec les clients.
• Gérer l’ampleur et les demandes de changement tout au long du cycle de vie du projet.

Qualifications requises

• Maîtrise de l’anglais à l’oral et à l’écrit.
• Compétences en japonais (conversationnelles à commerciales).
• Capacité à communiquer efficacement avec la haute direction, y compris les C-level.
• Préparation et connaissance en évaluation et configuration d’outils de gestion de projet.
• Expérience en communication interfonctionnelle et application des techniques de gestion de projet.
• Capacités de travail indépendant avec une gestion du temps efficace et un sens aigu des détails.
• Compétences en communication, présentation et relations interpersonnelles pour expliquer des solutions complexes.
• Passion pour le développement personnel et l’amélioration continue.

Qualifications préférées

• Compétence en japonais à un niveau commercial ou natif.
• Connaissance des systèmes de gestion de contenu et des plateformes de portails.
• Expérience avec des outils de gestion de projet tels que JIRA ou MS Project Plan.
• Familiarité avec les méthodologies de développement de logiciels.
• Diplôme en informatique ou en ingénierie, ou expérience équivalente.
• Certifications professionnelles telles que PMP, PRINCE2 ou Scrum Master.

You need to ensure that the project will be delivered successfully in time, therefore you need to:

• Actively work with your team to handle project escalation issues, facilitate discussion, and resolve any conflicts as needed
• Proactively communicate a clear picture to team members of what project success looks like, and work with client leadership to build the comprehensive plan on how to get there
• Partnering with our clients, you will define, gather and analyze client requirements, as well as provide them with consistent follow ups and progress reports
• Assist high-performance teams and individuals track progress and clear any project roadblocks along the way
• Follow Liferay’s Services methodology for delivery when managing project risks and issues, helping the project stay on course to achieve targeted outcomes
• Effectively coordinate tasks and schedules of the project according to each phase and priority
• Collaborate with project teams to plan and coordinate release activities, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders
• Work closely with clients to gather, define, and document business and technical requirements
• Drive the creation and maintenance of project deliverables, timelines, and regular status updates to ensure transparency and alignment
• Manage project scope and change requests throughout the lifecycle, ensuring timely decisions and milestone achievements

Required Qualifications

• Native/Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Conversational to business verbal and written communication skills in Japanese
• Proficient in engaging and communicating with senior management, including but not limited to C-levels
• Knowledgeable in technology, including evaluation and configuration of project management and collaboration tools
• Experienced in cross-functional communication and application of project management techniques in situations that involve a blend of resources from initial strategy mapping to user experience design
• Able to work independently with excellent time management skills. Detail-oriented with a strong problem solving mindset
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate complex business solution concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
• Passionate about personal development and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Business to Native level verbal and written communication skills in Japanese
• Knowledge of content management systems and other portal platforms
• Knowledge of project management tools: JIRA, MS Project Plan
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (Software Development Lifecycle)
• Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent level of demonstrated knowledge
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master certification etc.
