To the Innovation department for the position:Formulation Scientist – Drug DevelopmentPOSITION PURPOSE:The main purpose of the position is the development of medicinal products and a support of activities related to the product registration and its launch in accordance with the corporate strategy. He/she proposes key decisions and makes plans of project strategies. He/she is responsible for the technological project solution in accordance with the formulation strategy. He/she is responsible for the development of new dosage forms in the required quality using both the internal and external resources, professional data and legislation in force. He/she participates in regular technological discussions relating to the projects, presents solutions of the problems within the product development so that the respective milestones can be reached. He/she actively co-operates with project team members. He presents and reports the current states of the projects being run. He/she co-operates with external companies and universities for the purpose of developing modern technologies and training students. He is responsible for keeping the assigned project budget within the Department. He/she takes part in assessing the technological aspect of the selection of new capital assets and the recovery of the current capital assets. He /she takes care of increasing the efficiency of in-company processes and of continual training in the field of pharmaceutical technologies and related areas.Job Title: Formulation ScientistEducation & Qualifications

• University degree (MSc or higher) in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, or related life sciences.
• Ph.D. in a relevant field is an advantage.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development (solid dosage forms preferred).
• Proven experience in R&D or technology transfer of pharmaceutical products.
• Experience with bioequivalence studies and regulatory documentation (e.g., Module 3 of CTD) is a strong plus.

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of formulation strategies and pharmaceutical development processes.
• Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical technologies, including granulation, tableting, coating, etc.
• Familiarity with ICH guidelines, GMP, and registration processes.
• Ability to assess and mitigate risks related to pharmaceutical processes.

Project Management & Collaboration

• Experience with leading formulation parts of R&D projects.
• Ability to plan and execute development tasks according to project timelines and budgets.
• Strong cooperation skills with cross-functional teams (analytical, regulatory, manufacturing).
• Experience working with external partners (e.g., CMOs, universities) is a plus.

Communication & Reporting

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, at least intermediate in Czech.
• Ability to present and explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in reporting project status and participating in technical discussions.
