Join us.The Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) team is missioned to:
– Protect ByteDance users, including and beyond content consumers, creators, advertisers;
– Secure platform health and community experience authenticity;
– Build infrastructures, platforms and technologies, as well as to collaborate with many cross-functional teams and stakeholders.The BRIC team works to minimise the damage of inauthentic behaviours on ByteDance platforms (e.g. TikTok, CapCut, Lark), covering multiple classical and novel community and business risk areas such as account integrity, engagement authenticity, anti spam, API abuse, growth fraud, live streaming security and financial safety (ads or e-commerce), etc.In this team you’ll have a unique opportunity to have first-hand exposure to the strategy of the company in key security initiatives, especially in building scalable and robust, intelligent and privacy-safe, secure and product-friendly systems and solutions. Our challenges are not some regular day-to-day technical puzzles — You’ll be part of a team that’s developing novel solutions to first-seen challenges of a non-stop evolvement of a phenomenal product ecosystem. The work needs to be fast, transferrable, while still down to the ground to making quick and solid differences.Responsibilities
1. Be responsible for the development of TikTok’s anti-automation defense system and enhance the capabilities of the risk defense system to actively detect and mitigate automation abuse across TikTok products and platforms.
2. Design the business measurement system and goals for the team, establish a product system covering risk perception, assessment tracking, mitigation measurement, and monitoring. Promote collaboration with teams such as PM, RD, MLE, and DS to improve the overall efficiency of risk measures and achieve risk-related goals.
3. Be accountable for the effectiveness of anti-automation governance, driving the iterative planning and implementation of anti-automation products (such as SDK, Captcha, URL Security, etc.).
4. Conduct cutting-edge industry research, monitor the technological evolution of underground industries, stay updated on emerging technological innovations, lead the implementation of industry-best solutions tailored to TikTok’s business, and drive the upgrade of risk management and defense strategies.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer-related field, with more than 5 years of experience in Internet anti-automation risk control.
2. Experience in independently leading project implementation, with strong cross-team and cross-department collaboration skills, and the ability to manage projects independently.
3. A global perspective, with familiarity with industry regulations, products, solutions, business risks, and control measures.
4. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL and Python, with the ability to independently analyze business problems, design solutions, and drive the implementation of solutions to improve risk-control governance effectiveness.Preferred Qualifications
