Human by nature.Logistics Lead EDC – Your future position?As a Logistics Lead EDC you will manage daily E2E operations and execute projects in the context of the European Distribution Center (EDC). You will report directly to the Regional WH Manager Europe.You can be based in Budapest, Dortmund or Naarden.Main responsibilities:ExecutionLead Logistics administration and its daily operational activitiesMonitor Essers ‘ daily E2E operations in the EDCManage interface activities to the regional PLA teamManage escalation in the E2E scenarios for logistics related issuesImprove the standard set of KPIs (Safety, Quality, Service, Lean and Costs) in the EDCSupport the WH footprint reduction in Europe therefore execution of transfer projects to the EDCIdentify, design and implement additional improvement actions and standardsWork in a structured way (root cause analyses, PDCA) with main stakeholders (Sites Shipping Teams, Regional Operational Transport Manager, Warehousing Teams, Road Hub, GBS, LSP, Controlling) to improve the standard set of KPIsMonitor and analyze monthly the standard set of KPIs; implement and monitor related action plans (continuous improvement)Manage documents and standardsCreate documents and standards (Safety, HACCP, Working Instructions, SOPs/OPLs) and manage Skill Matrix and training documentationEnsure corporate governance principles: ensuring integrity, quality and complianceCollaborate with Regional Logistics teamProject managementPlan smaller projects within the area of the EDC: analysis, estimation and optimization of flows, processes and costsControlling and execution: organisation and coordination of the performance of the project from start to finishSupport the WH footprint reduction in Europe therefore execution of transfer projects to the EDCManage the change (communication and training)People managementLead Logistics administrationMonitor Essers WH operationsFirst contact for escalation-related issuesYour professional profile includes:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain ManagementOperations Management or comparableFluency in English2+ years of experience in Supply Chain with background in Logistics – meaning DIS and SHI/TRA within SAPSolid knowledge of warehousing and logistics networkBasic knowledge of supply chain function and processesStrong affinity to systems (SAP, XLS)Strong command in project and change managementExperience with large ERP system(s)Six Sigma/ Lean Green Belt certificate preferredContinuous Improvement mindsetOur Benefits (based on location):Great compensation package including bonusWe offer learning and career development opportunitiesOther local benefits based on the locationMultiple location: Budapest (Hungary), Naarden (Netherlands), Dortmund (Germany)#LI-HybridAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.
