Description du poste

Le poste de Maintenance Engineer (Mech / Elec) est essentiel au sein de Magnera, car il vise à garantir l’efficacité et la sécurité de toutes les opérations de maintenance sur les machines, en conformité avec les normes nationales. Les responsabilités incluent :

• Sécurité : Prioriser la sécurité en milieu de travail et veiller au respect des règlements IEEE et BS7671, ainsi que des bonnes pratiques électriques.
• Maintenance planifiée : Effectuer la maintenance préventive et corrective sur des équipements critiques afin d’optimiser leur fiabilité.
• Gestion des équipements : Utiliser un système de gestion de maintenance assistée par ordinateur (CMMS) pour gérer efficacement les opérations.
• Travail d’équipe : Collaborer avec les superviseurs de production pour réagir rapidement aux pannes et minimiser les temps d’arrêt.
• Amélioration continue : S’impliquer dans l’élaboration de solutions pour réduire les coûts et améliorer la performance technique de l’usine.
• Compétences techniques : Être capable d’utiliser des machines comme les tours et les fraiseuses ou être disposé à apprendre ces compétences.

Conditions de travail

Le poste requiert une mobilité géographique et une capacité à travailler en quart de travail, avec des horaires de 12 heures (6h-18h), selon un cycle de 2 jours travaillés, 2 jours de repos, et ainsi de suite. Les avantages incluent :

Qualifications requises

Les candidats doivent posséder une formation en maintenance (apprentissage mécanique ou électrique) et une expérience de 5 ans dans des rôles similaires. Les qualifications souhaitées comprennent un HNC/ONC en ingénierie mécanique ou électrique. La maîtrise de l’anglais écrit et parlé est indispensable.

Responsibilities:Responsible for effective and efficient activities in repairing all machinery to National Standards. These activities include Planned Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, Equipment reliability as well as using the CMMS system for the maintenance department. Optimizing equipment reliability through a continuous improvement plan and actively buying in to all Magnera values with regards to Safety and training.

• First and foremost, it is the responsibility of the incumbent to perform any and all tasks in a safe manner, keeping in mind safety on the job at all times. It is expected that the incumbent will not only practice safety on the job, but will be responsible for the safety of others working in the manufacturing floor, warehouse as well a support areas.
• Is aware of all IEEE, BS7671 Wiring Regs and Electricity at Work regulations including all safety rules applying to electrical work ensuring that safe working practices are adhered to at all times.
• Can provide vision, goals, coaching, and priorities, ensuring that safety, quality, customer service and costs goals for the engineering and reliability function are successfully achieved.
• Will be responsible for the facility maintenance, ensuring optimum operation of all ancillary and peripheral systems in the plant and warehouse.
• Will be expected to use the CMMS program to provide optimum reliability to the operation of our manufacturing and ancillary systems.
• Can provide energy to the PM schedule to create a “best in class” environment.
• Consistently seeks alternatives to control and reduce spending. Promotes and generates improvement ideas and takes responsibility to complete on time and budget.
• Provides support to the production shift supervisor in reacting to breakdowns efficiently and successfully
• Is competent in use of Lathe, milling machine and other workshop machinery or willing to learn.
• Carries out day to day duties as required by the maintenance manager and to ensure compliance.
• Promote an environment of excellence in reliability engineering, predictive, and preventive maintenance as well as in each and every practice of the department.
• Responsible for plant facility and ancillary services.
• Is flexible with work hours when needed to work overtime.
• Support any project work that arises
• Completion of relevant records of faults and projects carried out.
• Carry out fault diagnostics on Electrical, pneumatic and mechanical equipment
• Logical Problem Solving – Can understand which information is relevant to develop solutions and options.
• Has experience with using lathe, milling machine to produce tooling and parts such as bushes, shafts couplings etc.
• Enthusiasm-‘Buys in’ to all company values and any new rules and regulations implemented by the company.
• Drive- Has drive and ambition to be part of a grown and expanding Global company.
