Objectif du Poste
Le poste de **Country Finance Lead** est essentiel pour superviser l’ensemble des opérations financières en Malaisie, garantir la conformité financière et opérationnelle, et veiller à l’alignement avec les réglementations locales et les normes globales.
Responsabilités Clés
Contrôle Financier
- Superviser toutes les opérations financières, protéger les actifs de l’entreprise et générer des rapports financiers précis et opportuns.
- Gérer les interactions avec les auditeurs et agents fiscaux.
- Assurer le respect des délais de reporting tant au niveau local que global.
- Effectuer des revues régulières des comptes du bilan pour garantir leur exactitude.
Planification et Analyse Financière
- Diriger le processus d’élaboration des budgets en collaboration avec les chefs de département.
- Suivre la performance réelle par rapport aux budgets et recommander des actions correctives.
- Participer au processus de planification stratégique pour assurer la robustesse des prévisions.
Trésorerie
- Surveiller la gestion de la trésorerie pour garantir une liquidité adéquate pour les opérations quotidiennes.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le Trésorier du groupe pour assurer un financement suffisant.
Conformité et Gestion des Risques
- Établir un environnement de contrôle solide pour atténuer les risques financiers.
- Fixer un « ton au sommet » pour toutes les questions de contrôle.
Leadership et Développement des Équipes
- Encadrer et développer l’équipe financière tout en collaborant avec divers acteurs.
- Posséder une capacité avérée à influencer et à mener des équipes.
Exigences du Poste
- Baccalauréat en finance, comptabilité ou domaine connexe (qualifications professionnelles comme ACCA ou CPA sont un plus).
- Connaissance approfondie des normes IFRS/MFRS, des lois fiscales et des exigences réglementaires.
- Expérience avérée en gestion du fonds de roulement et prévision de trésorerie.
- Compétences analytiques et en résolution de problèmes exceptionnelles.

Isn’t that beautiful?Position PurposeWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Country Finance Lead to oversee all financial operations in Malaysia. This role is critical to ensuring financial compliance, operational efficiency, and alignment with both local regulations and global organisational standards.As the Country Finance Lead, you, together with the support of your team, will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing financial insights, driving cost management to achieve the organization’s objectives.Key Responsibilities:Financial Controllership
- Oversee all financial operations, safeguard all assets of the company and generate accurate, timely financial reports (both statutory and management)
- Adhere to market and group reporting timelines
- Managing interactions with auditors and tax agents
- Ensuring timely filling of all statutory reporting
- Conduct regular reviews of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy, compliance to all accounting standards and policies This role will be supported by a shared service center team
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads
- Monitor actual performance against budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
- Provide rolling forecasts to adapt to changes in the business environment
- Participate in the S&OP process to ensure robustness of forecasts
- Articulate commercial and financial risks and opportunities; partner with Functional Heads to review profitability estimates, explore and realise opportunities, and mitigate risks
- Lead ad hoc analysis as and when required, this includes preparation of business cases to support investments in boutiques, etc
- Role will require an ability to work independent and drive changes in line with the strategic goals of the organization
- Participate in strategic planning discussions
Treasury
- Monitor cash position via tight cashflow management and forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day business operations and strategic initiatives
- Driving early conversations and actions to ensure sufficient funding either internally or externally, working closely with the Group Treasurer
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensuring a strong controls environment to mitigate risks
- Setting the ‘tone at the top’ in all controls related matters
Leadership, People Development
- Candidate needs to display an ability to lead via working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and having a strong capability to influence
- Ability to lead and develop the finance team is a must
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA preferred)
- Strong understanding of IFRS/MFRS, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience in working capital management, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams. Will need to have managed a decent-sized team
- Have good interpersonal skills and an ability to drive tasks to completion
- Experience in using SAP Accounting software is a plus but not a must
