Who should you meet with:The citizen is a 31-year-old man, residing in Højbjerg.His interests are creative hobbies such as drawing, painting, writing, reading books. He is also interested in religion, cats, and culture.He wants a walking partner in the area near Kalkærparken in Højbjerg.He would like to meet with a partner once a week, possibly on Thursday.He doesn’t have specific wishes regarding age or gender, the most important thing is that there is good chemistry.How should it be done:The Activity Partner project is anchored in the SORAS Support and Social Services under Aarhus Municipality.You will be contacted by a volunteer coordinator from SORAS for a short conversation about the project and the possibilities. After that, a match meeting will be arranged between the citizen (or the citizen’s coping counselor) and you and the volunteer coordinator. At the meeting, you will agree on where and how often you will meet, as well as other agreements for the partnership.We expect this from you:
- You are open-minded and can put yourself in someone else’s shoes.
- You can set aside time weekly/every other week to meet with the citizen.
- You are reliable and keep your agreements.
- You can take the initiative for a specific agreement.
- You can commit to a minimum of 6 months.
