So, join our Global Mandate Services team and feel like you’re part of something bigger.About your teamThe Global Mandate Services (GMS) team supports the implementation and change management of segregated mandates and investment advisory solutions across institutional clients globally. This includes onboarding new clients, managing client-led or regulatory change, internal strategic initiatives, and enhancing operational delivery frameworks. The team plays a critical role in supporting discretionary portfolio management and advisory services and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders including Sales, Investment Management, Asset Management Operations, Client Services, and third-party providers.About your roleAs part of the Global Mandate Services onboarding and implementation team, this role will report to the Manger of GMS onboarding. This will include day to day management of the pipeline of activity across mandate onboarding and implementation.The team is responsible for institutional and wholesale sub-advisory mandate (collectively “institutional”), client onboarding and mandate implementation.Focused on discretionary portfolio management (segregated mandate) and investment advisory services, the role will have central responsibility for delivery and quality assurance across the scope of activity.The successful candidate will act as a key partner to the sales teams to help drive delivery of client onboaridng activity, and effectively manage the risks across client management. The role will also require interactions with the range of internal partner functions that are critical to support onboarding and implementation activity.The focus will be on Asia Pacific Clients, but can support our wider client-based across EMEA. The role will be based in Taiwan and travel across the wider APAC region is possible, both to engage with client facing sales teams and key support functions.About youThe Successful candidate will take accountability to manage the new client and internal lead change activity, as well as act as key escalation point for complex change and query resolutionProject & Change Management

  • Own and manage end-to-end mandate implementation for our institutional client mandates.
  • Maintain and track comprehensive project plans, identifying risks and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Act as a key escalation point for complex issues and query resolution.
  • Plan and lead regular project governance forums and client/custodian meetings.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership

  • Act as a key partner to global Sales teams, engaging at the opportunity stage to assess potential future mandates.
  • Coordinate internal resources to design and deliver solutions for bespoke client requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Investment Management, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Represent the GMS team in cross-functional governance forums and external client discussions when required.

Operational Excellence & Risk Management

  • Ensure robust management for all client mandates implementations, with a strong focus on risk mitigation, control processes, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee and drive improvements to operating models, including risk controls and reporting.
  • Engage with custodians, vendors, and platform providers to ensure readiness ahead of go-live dates.
  • Work closely with Client Service Managers to capture and fulfill client expectations.

Team Management & Development

  • Support production of Management Information (MI), governance reporting.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and innovation across GMS functions.

Desirable Experience and QualificationsExperience & Knowledge

  • Proven experience in any of: Client Relationship Management (CRM) or exposure to investment instruments and associated operational functions such as investment management operations; asset servicing; trade operations; fund accounting.
  • Experience of Mandate implementation activity and custodian onboarding
  • Experience of product development or Client onboarding and change management for institutional clients is advantageous.
  • Experience with Investment Management Agreements (IMAs) and client guideline documentation is also advantageous.

Desirable Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience managing operational change in a global investment management context.
  • Use of project tools and systems (e.g., InvestOne, workflow trackers) desirable.
