OQ, une entreprise de renom dans le secteur de l’énergie, recherche un Manager Reporting & Analysis pour diriger les fonctions de reporting et d’analyse financière du groupe. Ce poste clé vise à fournir des informations précises et opportunes à la Direction et aux actionnaires.
Objectif du poste
La mission principale consiste à superviser la performance financière des différentes entités opérationnelles tout en mettant l’accent sur la digitalisation, l’intégrité des données et l’analyse stratégique. le candidat devra agir en accord avec la mission, vision et valeurs du groupe.
Tâches et responsabilités principales
- Reporting financier : Diriger le processus de reporting à l’échelle du groupe, en garantissant la cohérence, l’exactitude et la transparence des informations.
- Analyse de performance : Surveiller la performance financière et opérationnelle, utiliser l’analyse des écarts pour identifier des opportunités d’amélioration.
- Transformation numérique : Promouvoir la digitalisation du reporting grâce à des outils modernes.
- Engagement des parties prenantes : Collaborer avec divers départements pour rassembler et communiquer des insights financiers critiques.
- Leadership : Encadrer une équipe performante et initier des projets d’amélioration continue.
Qualifications et compétences
- Éducation : Diplôme en finance, économie ou gestion ; un master ou une certification professionnelle (ACCA, CFA) est un atout.
- Expérience : Minimum de 8 à 10 ans dans le reporting financier, idéalement dans le secteur pétrolier ou énergétique.
- Compétences techniques : Maîtrise des systèmes financiers (ex : SAP) et des outils BI (ex : Power BI, Tableau).
- Analytique : Forte capacité à synthétiser les données et à identifier des tendances significatives.
- Communication : Excellentes compétences en présentation d’informations financières à des niveaux exécutifs.

- Internes : Collaboration avec OQ Streams/Assets.
- Externes : Interactions avec des actionnaires et des consultants.
Conditions de travail
Ce poste se déroule dans un environnement de bureau avec une utilisation intensive des ordinateurs, accompagné de visites ponctuelles sur le site d’opérations.

The role is responsible for overseeing the financial performance of all operating companies, driving digitalization, ensuring data integrity, and supporting strategic decision-making through analytics and performance monitoring.The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.Main tasks and responsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Analysis
- Lead the end-to-end process of financial performance reporting across the Group, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and transparency.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial and performance dashboards for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Prepare integrated Group-level reports based on financial control data and operational inputs.
- Coordinate and consolidate financial reporting from all group entities, providing guidance and support to finance teams across the organization.
- Ensure alignment between financial goals and business performance metrics.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and insights for the Board, highlighting key trends, risks, and action items.
Performance Management
- Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of financial and operational performance across the Group’s portfolio.
- Utilize forecasting, variance analysis, and prescriptive analytics to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Drive benchmarking initiatives to identify gaps and guide the organization toward top quartile industry performance.
- Collaborate with business units to align performance with strategic financial goals and KPIs.
Data Governance & Digital Transformation
- Champion the development and maintenance of a centralized, robust financial and operational data repository.
- Lead the digitalization of performance reporting through modern BI tools and business dashboards.
- Uphold data integrity, quality standards, and governance frameworks to support reliable decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and business unit heads, to gather, validate, and communicate critical financial insights.
- Present and discuss key financial and operational performance issues with executive management and the Board.
- Facilitate cross-functional initiatives aimed at addressing underperformance or unlocking new value.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team responsible for reporting and analysis.
- Identify and execute special projects to resolve performance bottlenecks or operational inefficiencies.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in financial reporting and analysis practices.
- Support change management initiatives, including new systems, tools, and process improvements.

- Minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Management, or equivalent.
- Master’s degree or professional certification like MBA, ACCA, CFA is a plus.
Language
- Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required)

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial reporting, planning, or performance analysis, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Energy sector.
- Proven experience in leading reporting functions across complex group structures.
- Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP) and data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of IFRS standards for financial reporting and consolidation.
- Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen – strong understanding of how financial performance links to broader business strategy.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights for executive decision-making
