Join Bristol Myers Squibb, a global biopharmaceutical leader, as a Medical Advisor and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cancer care in Ireland.About the RoleAs a Medical Advisor, you will be at the forefront of scientific exchange, thought leader engagement, and strategic medical planning. You’ll collaborate with top clinicians, support clinical research, and drive innovative solutions that impact patients, healthcare professionals, and the broader healthcare system.Key Responsibilities
- Engage with healthcare professionals to provide scientific expertise and respond to medical inquiries.
- Lead scientific discussions and educational initiatives at both individual and group levels.
- Identify and support clinical trial sites and investigator-initiated research.
- Develop and execute Irish medical plans for oncology and haematology.
- Collaborate with internal teams on training, strategy, and compliance.
- Contribute to Health Technology Assessments and patient access initiatives.
- Act as a medical signatory, ensuring adherence to IPHA Code and internal standards.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences (PhD or advanced science degree preferred).
- Experience in Haematology or Oncology is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Proven ability to work with thought leaders and manage cross-functional projects.
- Knowledge of clinical trials, the HSE, and pharmaceutical industry practices.
- Full driving license required.
