What you’ll do:As a Medical Science Liaison Oncology, you will immerse yourself in the heart of scientific exchange by building trusted relationships with key opinion leaders in oncology. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging with healthcare professionals through insightful discussions on emerging data, providing expert responses to complex queries, and supporting innovative research collaborations. You will play an integral role in gathering valuable field insights that inform strategic decisions for both medical affairs and commercial teams. By adapting global resources for local use and supporting clinical research initiatives at every stage, you will help ensure that patients benefit from the latest advancements in oncology care. Identify key external experts (KEEs) within the oncology community and develop tailored engagement plans that foster long-term scientific relationships.
Establish rapport through meaningful scientific interactions by disseminating up-to-date data, responding thoughtfully to unsolicited medical information requests, and facilitating investigator-initiated studies as well as external cooperative research projects.
Collect timely insights and external intelligence from the field to support strategic planning efforts for both medical affairs and brand teams, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
Execute medical affairs plans for both professional audiences and patient groups in accordance with overarching medical affairs strategies.
Localise global medical materials such as medical decks, standard responses, and quality assurance documents to ensure relevance and compliance within the local context.
Support clinical trials, medical affairs studies, and various medical programmes across all phases including phase I-IV studies, investigator-initiated studies (IIS), and expanded access programmes (EAP).
Undertake additional assignments as directed by the leadership team, contributing positively to broader organisational goals.
