Le poste de Responsable des Communications implique le développement de contenu communicationnel à partir de divers canaux, incluant, mais sans s’y limiter, le site web, le marketing par courriel, les réseaux sociaux et la publicité. Les responsabilités englobent la création de brochures sur site, de contenu spécifique pour l’application mobile, des messages push aux clients, et d’autres contenus relatifs à l’hôtel et à la destination. Le candidat devra également organiser et soutenir des visites de médias sur site ainsi que des séances photo. Les programmes de publicité innovants à mettre en œuvre visent à augmenter les revenus et la notoriété, en créant une perception positive de l’hôtel, de ses restaurants, de son spa et de ses services.
Profil du candidat
Éducation et expérience
- *Diplôme de lycée ou GED* ; 4 ans d’expérience dans le domaine des communications, du commerce électronique, des ventes et du marketing ou dans un domaine professionnel connexe.
- OU
- *Diplôme de 2 ans d’une université accréditée* en Administration des affaires, Marketing, Communications ou dans un domaine connexe ; 2 ans d’expérience dans un domaine professionnel similaire.
Activités principales
Achievement of Communications Goals
- Élaboration d’un plan de communication annuel en collaboration avec le Directeur des Ventes et du Marketing, intégrant les objectifs marketing de l’hôtel.
- Acte en tant qu’expert local pour l’hôtel et la destination.
- Fournit un soutien sur site pour le Marketing de terrain, le commerce électronique et le Directeur de la Communication, en coordination avec le Directeur des Ventes et du Marketing et d’autres membres du personnel de gestion.
- Création de programmes de publicité innovants visant à répondre à des besoins spécifiques identifiés dans le plan marketing.
- Revue de contenu pour garantir que toutes les promotions de l’hôtel sont conformes à l’image de marque.
- Gestion des requêtes quotidiennes des médias locaux.
Leadership des équipes de communication
- Prise de décisions concernant l’équipe et établissement de démarches en collégialité.

- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the communications, ecommerce, sales and marketing or related professional area.
OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related major; 2 years experience in the communications, ecommerce, sales and marketing or professional area.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIESAchieving Communications Goals
- Develops annual Communications plan in tandem with Director, Sales & Marketing which is to serve as an integral part of the hotel’s marketing plan.
- Acts as a local area knowledge expert for the hotel and the destination.
- Provides on-property support to Field Marketing, Field Ecommerce and Market Director of Public Relations in coordination with Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM), and other management staff.
- Creates and executes innovative publicity programs that will increase revenue and awareness, creating a positive perception of the hotel, its restaurants, Spa, services. Programs should address specific needs as outlined in the marketing plan and capitalize on unexpected opportunities as they arise.
- Reviews content to ensure that all hotel promotions are in keeping with the brand image and reflect the highest level of professionalism in content and presentation.
- Responds to daily newsroom enquiries, and daily local media enquiries.
Leading Communications Teams
- Makes decisions, including employees/team and commits to a course of action with available information.
- Addresses conflict in a timely manner.
- Directs and assists the General Manager with all Crisis Communications as it pertains to the media and external/internal guests during any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Acts as an advisory to management by tracking public attitudes and making General Manager aware of the possible consequences of prospective decisions.
