This is a great opportunity to join a large EPC Engineering Consultant and their dynamic team based in Vancouver, BC.

• A postgraduate degree specializing in the application of advanced statistical analysis and/or machine learning to geoscience
• Mining / metals industry experience
• Registration as either an Engineer or Geologist in Training (EIT/GIT) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
• Strong programming skills with a scientific coding language (Python, R, Julia) and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
• A strong theoretical background with demonstrated competence in defining applied and practical solutions
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team to generate, implement, and complete projects
• Willingness to partake in field investigations.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud computing solutions
• Proficiency with geospatial tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) and/or 3D implicit modeling software (Leapfrog)
• Experience in rock mechanics, soil mechanics, structural geology, or geostatistics.
• Experience in geoscience, geophysics, geochemistry data integration
• Prior consulting experience
