Le poste est proposé à Dunedin Hospital, au sein de l’Allied Health Unit.

Description des responsabilités
Le candidat retenu intégrera une équipe multidisciplinaire dédiée aux soins des patients hospitalisés. Le rôle implique principalement la prise en charge des cas d’AVC aigu, d’oncologie et de médecine, avec des possibilités d’assumer des responsabilités dans d’autres secteurs selon les besoins. La flexibilité est donc essentielle, y compris la participation à des roulements d’appels et à des week-ends de travail.

About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist with experience in acute stroke, oncology/haematology and internal medicine or who have keen interest developing skills in this area to join our inpatient Allied Health team at Dunedin Hospital.This role would be well suited to a clinician with a dynamic and adaptable approach to interdisciplinary team working, and a keen interest in acute inpatient medical, oncology and stroke presentations. Whilst acute stroke, oncology and medical is the main area of cover, you will be required to cover other inpatient areas from time to time as required.We take pride in supporting our staff to grow as clinicians, so we run an ongoing support and professional development programme including regular team in-services, a comprehensive on-call/weekend competency training framework, and access to course and conference funding.Please note this role requires you to participate in weekend and on-call rosters therefore flexibility is essential.About youWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have the drive to develop quality services in collaboration with others while working alongside a committed inter-professional team of health professionals.You will have a minimum of three years’ experience and be able to work effectively and autonomously in a fast-paced environment as a member of the broader inter-professional team. You will have previous clinical experience in acute stroke presentations and bring a willingness to learn which will be complemented by the support of your team members. You will be proficient at managing and prioritising a busy caseload within the inpatient setting and show dedication to developing your own skills while supporting the growth of students, junior staff and the Allied Health Assistant workforce.You will need to be adaptable and flexible allowing you to work effectively with your clients and within a changing health environment.Painga – Benefits:
