Responsabilités principales
Le poste consiste à gérer les aspects comptables des actifs fixes, avec un registre d’actifs d’une valeur nette d’environ 6 milliards de dollars. Les responsabilités incluent :
- Gestion des actifs fixes : Suivi des ajouts, des cessions, et des amortissements à travers le système SAP.
- Amélioration continue : Optimiser les processus liés aux actifs tout en maintenant une gouvernance et des contrôles internes robustes.
- Reporting : Production de rapports de dépenses en capital précis et d’analyses sur les variations budgétaires.
- Support aux audits : Contribuer aux processus d’audit et assurer la conformité avec les normes IFRS.
Cette position s’adresse à un professionnel évoluant dans un environnement technique complexe et dynamique, en interaction avec divers groupes de parties prenantes.
Compétences et qualifications requises
Pour réussir dans ce rôle, l’aspirant doit apporter :
- Expérience : Minimum 3 ans dans un poste comptable au sein d’une grande entreprise.

With our new strategy providing the roadmap for what we’re working to achieve and how we’ll get there, opportunities are emerging as we seek to expand our capability and talent in new and different spaces.Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The OpportunityJoin Chorus as our Fixed Assets and Capex Accountant on a 10-month fixed term contact, where you’ll play a critical role in supporting and driving our financial performance through ownership of the Fixed Asset Register (approximately $6 billion net book value) and delivering high-quality asset reporting and analysis across the Group.Reporting to the Fixed Assets and Projects Finance Manager within Group Reporting, you’ll work as part of our Financial Control team, contributing to key reporting and audit processes, maintaining robust internal controls, and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of fixed assets accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, reconciliations, and project lifecycle management in SAP.
- Driving continuous improvement across asset-related processes and ensuring strong governance and internal controls.
- Producing accurate and insightful capital expenditure reports, supporting investment business cases, and performing detailed analysis on budget variances and asset performance.
- Supporting the integrity of financial systems and contributing to the enhancement of internal financial controls and policy documentation.
- Leading depreciation forecasting and asset modelling, and playing a pivotal role in annual asset lives review.
- Supporting audit processes, regulatory compliance, and contributing to external reporting requirements including NZX, IFRS, and Commerce Commission obligations.

- At least 3+ years’ experience in an accounting role, ideally in a large and complex business environment.
- CA qualification (or currently working towards).
- Proven experience in financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, and analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP systems – SAP experience is highly regarded.
- A strong understanding of IFRS and fixed asset accounting policies and controls.
- Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process improvements and system enhancements.
- Ability to lead and support junior team members (including delegating and reviewing work).
