Objectifs du Rôle

Le Senior Strategist sera le principal conseiller stratégique du Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer (CSIO) et des directeurs généraux (GMs) de l’entreprise. Il soutiendra l’exécution de la vision stratégique à long terme d’Omantel, tout en veillant à l’intégration et à la livraison cohérente des initiatives en matière de stratégie, d’innovation, de marque, de technologie et de fusions-acquisitions (M&A).

Responsabilités Clés

• Conseil Stratégique & Support :
  • Servir en tant que conseiller stratégique principal et adjoint au CSIO.
  • Fournir des insights et des recommandations basées sur des données sur les initiatives critiques et les tendances émergentes.
  • Coordonner les cycles de planification stratégique et les communications exécutives.
• Intégration Stratégique Inter-Unités :
  • Aligner les objectifs stratégiques entre les différentes divisions d’Omantel.
  • Superviser les initiatives stratégiques inter-départementales, en veillant à leur livraison en temps voulu.
• Gestion de Programmes Stratégiques :
  • Gérer des programmes prioritaires délégués par le CSIO, avec responsabilité des résultats.
  • Intégrer les stratégies d’innovation avec l’agenda de transformation de l’entreprise.
• Innovation, Foresight & Intelligence de Marché :
  • Surveiller les technologies émergentes et les dynamiques de marché.
  • Favoriser une culture d’innovation en collaboration avec le Laboratoire d’Innovation.
• Communications Stratégiques & Engagement des Parties Prenantes :
  • Préparer des supports de communication pour les dirigeants et les partenaires stratégiques.
  • Contribuer au développement de documents clés, tels que les présentations pour le conseil d’administration.
• Partenariats Stratégiques & Relations Investisseurs :
  • Maintenir des relations avec les partenaires et les investisseurs stratégiques.
  • Évaluer les opportunités d’investissements technologiques et de partenariats.

📝 Description du poste : Job Description:Role Purpose:To serve as the principal advisor and strategic enabler to the CSIO and General Managers within the Strategy & Innovation Unit. This role supports the execution of Omantel’s long-term strategic vision and innovation agenda by ensuring integration, alignment, and delivery across corporate strategy, innovation, branding, technology, and M&A initiatives. The Senior Strategist will play a key role in turning strategic ambitions into actionable programs and in driving cross-functional coordination across business units.Position Information

• Strategic Advisory & Support to CSIO
• Serve as the principal strategic advisor and deputy to the CSIO, supporting all aspects of strategy formulation, monitoring, and execution.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations on critical initiatives, growth opportunities, and emerging trends.
• Coordinate strategic planning cycles, executive communications, and alignment sessions between the CSIO and the unit’s General Managers (GMs).
• Represent the CSIO in internal committees, high-impact projects, and cross-functional strategic forums.
• Cross-Unit Strategic Integration
• Drive alignment of strategic goals across Corporate Strategy, Innovation & Development, Branding, Technology Strategy, and the Innovation Lab.
• Lead coordination efforts among GMs to ensure unified execution of Omantel’s corporate strategy and innovation roadmap.
• Oversee cross-departmental strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and measurable impact.
• Strategic Program Oversight
• Manage high-priority programs delegated by the CSIO, with full accountability for outcome delivery and KPI tracking.
• Integrate innovation, M&A, branding, and technology strategies into the broader corporate transformation agenda.
• Support execution of post-merger integration and transformation initiatives through cross-unit collaboration.
• Innovation, Foresight & Market Intelligence
• Monitor emerging technologies, industry shifts, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks for Omantel.
• Enable a forward-looking, innovation-driven culture by partnering with the Innovation Lab on scouting, incubation, and ecosystem development (e.g., startups, cloud platforms).
• Provide strategic foresight to shape future-ready strategies and investment theses.
• Strategic Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
• Prepare executive-level communication materials for the CEO, Board, investors, and strategic partners in coordination with the CSIO.
• Contribute to the development of key deliverables including Board strategy decks, investor briefings, and strategic updates.
• Ensure strategic messaging consistency and brand alignment in collaboration with the Corporate Branding team.
• Strategic Partnerships & Investor Relations
• Maintain development and partner management, across group level functions and managing relationship, tracking progress and developing the local, regional and global partner ecosystem
• Maintain relationships with large-scale stakeholders and strategic investors to support long-term growth initiatives.
• Leverage financial acumen and investment analysis capabilities to evaluate potential partners and technology investments
