Le Field Operations Manager sera responsable de la gestion des opérations de terrain à l’échelle nationale, principalement pour des clients du secteur pétrolier et gazier, tant sur terre qu’en mer. Il/elle supervisera une équipe dynamique de techniciens de terrain, gérera la flotte de véhicules et assurera le bon déroulement des opérations quotidiennes.
Responsabilités Quotidiennes
Les responsabilités incluent, sans s’y limiter :
- Gestion de l’équipe : Superviser et former l’équipe des opérations de terrain pour garantir leur préparation et leur sécurité.
- Planification : Assigner des tâches, gérer les plannings et s’assurer que le travail est accompli dans les délais impartis.
- Communication : Faciliter la collaboration entre les équipes de terrain, d’autres départements et la direction.
- Conformité : Surveiller le respect des réglementations de sécurité et des normes de l’industrie.
- Formation : Fournir des formations de sécurité sur site aux membres de l’équipe.
- Rapports : Préparer des rapports réguliers sur les activités de terrain et l’état des projets.
- Budget : Gérer les budgets de projets et contrôler les coûts.
Qualifications Requises
Pour être considéré pour ce poste, le candidat doit posséder :
- Un minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans la gestion d’équipe (au moins 5 rapports directs).
- Un statut de nationalité omanaise.
- Une expérience en opérations sur le terrain et gestion de projet.
- Des connaissances en télécommunications, de préférence avec des équipements VSAT et de mise en réseau.
- Une expérience dans les opérations pétrolières et gazières avec des opérateurs locaux.
Compétences Souhaitables
Le candidat idéal devra également posséder :
- Des compétences managériales solides et une expérience avérée dans la gestion d’équipe.
- Une bonne gestion du temps et la capacité de prioriser les tâches.
- Une aptitude à gérer des situations de haute pression.
- Un sens de la responsabilité et de l’engagement au-delà des attentes.

What you’ll do:At Viasat Energy Services in Oman you will be overseeing country wide field operations servicing preodimanently Oil and Gas customers on land and offshore, manage dynamic team of field technicians, vehicles fleet, and overall day to day operations to meet the requirement of internal teams and commitments to the customers.The day-to-day:
- Directly overseeing and guiding field operations team, ensuring properly trained and equipped for their given tasks
- Planning and assigning tasks, managing schedules, and ensuring work is completed on time
- Facilitating communication and collaboration between field teams, other departments, and management
- Resolving conflicts and addressing any issues or problems that arise in the field and the team
- Monitoring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Provide on-site safety training and guidance to field ops team
Ensure proper use, care and maintenance of company asset/equipment and company vehicles
- Reporting any vehicle, safety incidents, or hazards promptly creating report and immediately reporting back to Ops
- Area Manager and HSE, P&C
- Participating in the planning and execution of field area operations and projects assigned to Operations
- Managing resources and make sure Ops having adequate spare of equipment, consumable items and materials in the region
- Create and submit equipment/material cost for the Ops sparing requirements for purchasing and AFE creation as needed
- Work closely with OPS WIL and Global Purchasing team and Finance as required
- Monitoring project progress, quality, and performance against established goals
- Preparing and submitting regular reports on field activities and project status
- Ensuring work meets quality standards and SLA
- Identifying and resolving problems that arise during field operations
- Providing training and development opportunities for field ops staff
- Managing project budgets and controlling costs (cost saving initiative)
- Interacting with clients or stakeholders as required or needed
- Ensure accuracy of equipment inventory and safeguarding assets.
- Review and approve field ops timesheet and overtime computation to International payroll/HR for payment process before the next payroll cycle
- As supporting role you will be collaborating with local regulators (Oman TRA, Chamber of Commerce, local banking, ROP, vendors, customs authority etc as required for successful operations)
What you’ll need:
- Strong managerial skills, 5 years of experience with managing the team of at least 5 direct reports
- Omani national required
- Experience in Field Operations and Project Management
- Experience in Telecommunications Field, preferabily with VSAT and networking equipment
- Experience in Oil and Gas field operations with local operators
