Description du poste : As a Maths and English Administrator, you will be instrumental in supporting the smooth and secure administration of educational qualifications within the prison. Working closely with the Learning & Skills and Education Managers, you will coordinate the enrolment process for learners and ensure that all activities related to awarding body assessments are carried out to the highest standards.Your role will involve managing data input and certification processes across multiple systems, including the National Data System Curious and Awarding Body platforms. You’ll liaise with teaching staff to track portfolio submissions and exam entries, support internal quality assurance activities, and prepare for audits and inspections. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take part in standardisation meetings, help with invigilation duties, and contribute to improving administrative processes within the department.This is a busy and rewarding role that offers variety and the chance to make a real difference in supporting the rehabilitation and education of learners. - Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- High level of accuracy in data inputting and ability to focus in a busy environment.
- Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal, across all levels.
- Experience with awarding body systems.
- Planning, scheduling and diary management experience.
- Willingness to work flexibly, including staff rotation and occasional out-of-hours support.
- Interest in the rehabilitation and resettlement of offenders.
