Description du poste : Job Category: Customer ServicesDegree Level: Bachelor’s DegreeJob Description:As a NCS and Operations Engineer in Nokia’s Hamilton team, you will be the local Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Nokia Container Solution, providing advanced L2 technical support to our NZ customer. You’ll work within a dynamic, innovative team committed to optimizing network performance and service delivery. You’ll engage closely with Automation specialists and OSS Engineers, focusing on problem management, process automation scripting, and supporting local infrastructure.   • Serve as the local Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Nokia Container Solution (NCS) project, providing Level 2 support to a New Zealand customer.
  • Deliver advanced technical support and fault management for complex issues related to NCS, ensuring optimal network performance.
  • Collaborate with Automation Specialists and OSS Engineers to develop and enhance tools and frameworks for improved service delivery.
  • Implement process automation through scripting to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Address both physical and logical infrastructure support for the NCS, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Engage in problem management initiatives to proactively identify and resolve recurring issues within the NCS environment.
  • Communicate technical concepts and insights effectively to diverse audiences, fostering understanding and alignment.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the Hamilton team, driving innovation and continuous improvement in network operations.

Qualifications:You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, or software development
  • Knowledge and experience with containerization and related support tools
  • Proficiency in Node.js, REST API, JavaScript UX/UI design, and MS-SQL or similar databases
  • New Zealand citizenship, residency, or work visa, with familiarity in New Zealand telecommunications industry

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Advanced presentation skills tailored for technical audiences
  • Experience in complex support fault management for network solutions
  • Background in process automation scripting
  • Previous experience in tool software development
