Intro
A Field & Deployed Assets QA Technician ensures the stability, reliability, and efficiency of operational assets, internal systems, and field deployments through real-world testing, process optimization, and customer-driven feedback. This role focuses on operational excellence by proactively identifying inefficiencies, improving asset performance, and ensuring seamless integration across internal and field systems. This role is ideal for those passionate about operational excellence, system efficiency, and real-world problem-solving to enhance field asset performance and internal processes.Roles & Responsibilities

  • Be a first tier in responding to customer queries in a timely and accurate way via internal systems and according to team protocols
  • Be responsible for communicating and aligning with the communication protocols in the internal channels to create visibility to all the organization about the customer issues
  • Proactively identify platform status and its multifunctions and act for fast recovery or escalate to a higher level
  • Help customers use specific features and train according to internal tutorials or delegate to higher levels
  • Update our internal databases with information about technical issues and valuable discussions with customers
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their technical problems are resolved
  • Conduct remotely the on-site inspections and audits to verify the proper installation, calibration, and performance of deployed assets and internal systems.
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies in workflows and implementing process improvements.
  • Use real-world failure metrics such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) to assess reliability and optimize asset lifecycles.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, service reports, and failure trends to improve system performance and user experience.
  • Monitor and audit internal processes to ensure compliance with best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance to detect early signs of failure and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with operations, IT, and field teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Document test results, quality issues, and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement in field deployments and internal operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Technical background with knowledge in IT, system diagnostics, and hardware/software integration.
  • Technical background in software coding, electronics, and/or mechanics is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of quality control, testing methods, and operational workflows.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools, failure analysis, and process optimization techniques (training provided if needed).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in field environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in operations, internal systems, IT support, customer support, or equipment maintenance is a plus but not required.

Professional Background

  • Experience in field operations, IT support, quality assurance, system maintenance, or process optimization is preferred.
  • Knowledge of operational best practices, troubleshooting methodologies, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Prior experience in customer support, deployed asset monitoring, or internal system management is beneficial.
  • Exposure to predictive maintenance, performance tracking, and operational audits is a plus.

Required Experience

  • 3 years at least of experience in quality assurance, field service, IT support, or operational process improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, or monitoring deployed assets and internal systems.
  • Familiarity with failure analysis methods, data collection for performance tracking, and reporting quality issues.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and field operations.
  • Previous exposure to customer-driven feedback loops and process optimization initiatives is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of failures and inefficiencies.
  • Ability to work in dynamic field environments, including travel to deployment sites as needed.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for reporting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured quality assurance processes.
  • Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset to refine processes and enhance system performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Comfortable working with technical documentation, system logs, and performance data to drive operational insights.
