Le poste de **Business Finance Manager** représente une occasion unique d’influencer les décisions financières au sein de Careem. Ce rôle est crucial pour garantir une gestion rigoureuse des dépenses et pour élaborer des rapports financiers significatifs. L’implication dans ce poste requiert une approche proactive pour assurer la santé financière de l’entreprise.
Responsabilités Principales
- Analyse des Variances : Diriger les analyses de variance par rapport aux budgets, en veillant à ce que les provisions mensuelles soient correctement calculées.
- Optimisation des Coûts : Agir en tant que point de contact principal pour les initiatives d’optimisation des coûts, tout en contribuant à la planification financière stratégique.
- Contrôles Budgétaires : Développer des stratégies pour contrôler les dépenses en fonction des budgets établis pour différents marchés.
- Systèmes Financiers : Créer des systèmes et des tableaux de bord permettant d’améliorer la visibilité sur les dépenses financières.
- Communication des Anomalies : Identifier et communiquer les écarts ou anomalies dans le suivi des dépenses.
- Collaboration Interne : Travailler avec les équipes internes pour affiner les systèmes et processus financiers.
- Résolution des Problèmes de Données : Collaborer avec les équipes de données pour assurer l’intégrité des données financières.
Qualifications Requises
- Expérience : Jusqu’à 6 ans dans l’analyse financière, la budgétisation et la planification stratégique.
- Compétences Techniques : Maîtrise avancée d’Excel ; des connaissances en SQL constituent un plus.
- Compétences Analytiques : Aptitude à résoudre des problèmes, avec une approche proactive dans l’analyse des données.
- Environnement Dynamique : Capacité à s’épanouir dans un contexte de travail exigeant, avec esprit d’initiative.
- Communication : Excellentes compétences en communication, pour transmettre des informations financières complexes de manière claire.
- Formation : Diplôme en finance ou dans un domaine connexe, avec une solide compréhension des principes financiers.

It involves spend management activities, building insightful reports on the spends and developing essential strategies to ensure financial practices are consistently followed across various budget areas. This position is key to upholding financial discipline and making impactful contributions to the company’s financial health.What You’ll Do
- Lead variance analysis vs budgets and execute comprehensive budgeting exercises across markets, ensuring monthly accruals are accurately calculated for all operational regions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for cost optimization initiatives, actively contributing to strategic financial planning.
- Develop and implement initiatives to control expenditures against the budgets allocated for different markets.
- Create systems and dashboards to enhance visibility and control over financial spends, aiding in decision-making processes for various stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate any discrepancies or anomalies in spend tracking to Business Leaders and the FP&A function.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine and enhance financial systems and processes, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Partner with data teams to resolve data integrity issues, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
What You’ll Need
- Up to 6 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required. SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to gathering insights and data for impactful decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with a hands-on and ownership-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial information in a clear and persuasive manner.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, or a related field with a solid foundation in financial principles.
