Ce rôle de Senior Business Finance Manager représente une occasion unique d’influencer les décisions financières clés au sein de Careem. Le candidat retenu sera responsable de la gestion des dépenses, de l’élaboration de rapports détaillés et du développement de stratégies essentielles pour garantir que les pratiques financières soient respectées dans diverses catégories budgétaires. Ce poste est crucial pour maintenir la discipline financière et contribuer de manière significative à la santé financière de l’entreprise.
Responsabilités Principales
Les principales tâches comprennent :
- Conduire des analyses de variance par rapport aux budgets tout en réalisant des exercices budgétaires exhaustifs à travers les marchés, garantissant un calcul précis des accruals mensuels pour toutes les régions opérationnelles.
- Agir en tant que point de contact principal pour les initiatives d’optimisation des coûts, en contribuant activement à la planification financière stratégique.
- Développer et mettre en œuvre des initiatives pour contrôler les dépenses par rapport aux budgets alloués.
- Créer des systèmes et des tableaux de bord pour améliorer la visibilité et le contrôle sur les dépenses financières, facilitant ainsi les processus décisionnels.
- Identifier et communiquer toute anomalie dans le suivi des dépenses aux leaders commerciaux et à la fonction FP&A.
- Collaborer avec les équipes internes pour affiner et améliorer les systèmes et processus financiers.
- Travailler en partenariat avec les équipes de données pour résoudre les problèmes d’intégrité des données.
Exigences du Poste
Le candidat idéal devra posséder :
- Jusqu’à 9 ans d’expérience pertinente dans l’analyse financière, la budgétisation et la planification stratégique.
- Une maîtrise avancée d’Excel est requise, la connaissance de SQL étant un plus.
- De solides capacités d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes, avec une approche proactive pour recueillir des informations.
- La capacité à prospérer dans un environnement dynamique, avec un état d’esprit axé sur la propriété.
- De fortes compétences en communication et en présentation, avec la capacité de transmettre des informations financières complexes de manière claire.
- Un diplôme en finance ou dans un domaine connexe, avec une bonne maîtrise des principes financiers.

It involves spend management activities, building insightful reports on the spends and developing essential strategies to ensure financial practices are consistently followed across various budget areas. This position is key to upholding financial discipline and making impactful contributions to the company’s financial health.What You’ll Do
- Lead variance analysis vs budgets and execute comprehensive budgeting exercises across markets, ensuring monthly accruals are accurately calculated for all operational regions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for cost optimization initiatives, actively contributing to strategic financial planning.
- Develop and implement initiatives to control expenditures against the budgets allocated for different markets.
- Create systems and dashboards to enhance visibility and control over financial spends, aiding in decision-making processes for various stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate any discrepancies or anomalies in spend tracking to Business Leaders and the FP&A function.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine and enhance financial systems and processes, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Partner with data teams to resolve data integrity issues, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
What You’ll Need
- Up to 9 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required. SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to gathering insights and data for impactful decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with a hands-on and ownership-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial information in a clear and persuasive manner.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, or a related field with a solid foundation in financial principles.
