- Be passionately innovative with a dynamic drive to maintain the relevance of music at schools
- Display characteristics of tenacity
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team dedicated to the care and development of girls
- Be computer literate
- Have a suitable tertiary music qualification, professional teaching qualification and SACE registration
- Have music teaching experience in the foundational phases of junior school class music
- An ability in training and directing ensembles e.g. marimba bands and orchestras and choirs,
- A competent pianistic ability will be advantageous
- Experience in running concerts and festivals and preparing the girls accordingly
- Be willing to assist with functions and activities outside of school hours when necessary
- Appreciate working in a values-driven, Christian environment
- Be required to uphold the ethos and traditions of the school
- Be willing to apply for clearance with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register.
