They are looking for a PARTS DISTRIBUTION MANAGER to join their Edmonton team in this role you will foster, promote and maintain a work environment whereby employees feel empowered to perform at a high level while having a voice in the business and an open door to management.
Salary ranges from 125K- 135K full benefits, pension planResponsibilities

  • Oversee and manage distribution operations for resource efficiency, compliance, and profitability.
  • Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) such as quality, productivity, and safety.
  • Develop and control budgets and expenses for distribution activities.
  • Foster a positive work environment, empowering employees and encouraging open communication.
  • Mentor staff to achieve operational excellence and enhance customer service.
  • Maintain effective communication with employees, sales, HR, and corporate personnel.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of facilities, equipment, safety, and security measures.
  • Promote adherence to safety programs, good housekeeping, and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and make technology-driven recommendations.
  • Manage and review local transportation provider performance, adjusting agreements as needed.
  • Evaluate employee performance, conduct regular evaluations, and recognize achievements.
  • Plan and manage employee incentive programs to enhance performance and morale.
  • Ensure completion of all required corporate and legal training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • At least 6 years of experience in distribution functional areas, such as customer service, transportation, operations, inventory.
  • At least 5 years of Managerial experience
  • Must have distribution experience
  • Ability to lead a team of 10 employees
