We strive to compete in an ever evolving and challenging environment whilst ensuring our clients are valued and serviced at the centre of our business.Role DescriptionThis is a key role in supporting the « day-to-day » operations of our payment processing systems and department including troubleshooting and fraud prevention tools.Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Payment investigations. Manage and resolve payment escalations and incidents.
- Assist with the daily management of payment processing systems, including monitoring transactions and resolving any issues.
- Obtaining information and supporting documentation to complete KYC due diligence.
- Collaborate with clients and partners to provide the necessary documentation and support for excellent service.
- Monitor transactions for potential suspicious activity, unusual patterns, and compliance risks.
- Support the client services team with any troubleshooting queries.
- Collaborate with the Compliance and Risk teams to enhance fraud prevention strategies.
- Maintain proper documentation of all investigations and monitoring activities.
- Ensure that all internal compliance documentation is kept up to date and made available when required.
- Optimise and upgrade current payment systems to improve performance, efficiency, and overall user experience.
- Research new providers for the different regions the business covers.
- Maintain up to date knowledge in all possible troubleshooting queries.
Qualifications
- Languages skills: Fluent in English. Portuguese is a Plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in financial services.
- Experience in transaction monitoring, AML compliance, fraud detection, or a similar role in the financial services, fintech, or crypto industry.
- Reporting and data analytical skills: analyse payment data and payment channel performance (plus)
- Technical troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving technical issues related to payment.
- Strong written and verbal communication in the English language.
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
- Quick learner with good initiative.
- Must have experience in reporting to multiple internal teams and working independently.
- Ability to assess risks and make good compliance decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Work from the office.
- Fixed schedule 13h-22h from Monday to Friday.
- English Native/Fluent.
- Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.
