Responsabilités Principales

Le(e) Paediatric Clinical Lead Nurse aura parmi ses missions essentielles :

  • Assurer un leadership clinique pour la gestion des soins de qualité aux patients pédiatriques, tant en urgence qu’en soins programmés.
  • Collaborer avec le service d’urgence pédiatrique (ED) afin de garantir un flux efficace des patients en soins aigus.
  • Promouvoir le développement des services et s’assurer de la qualité des soins prodigués.
  • Conduire des audits mensuels afin de surveiller la qualité des soins et d’initier des améliorations proactives pour enrichir l’expérience patient.
  • Participer à la formation et au développement des compétences des membres de l’équipe multidisciplinaire.

Cette fonction requiert également une flexibilité horaire, incluant des plages de travail en dehors des heures normales.

📝 Description du poste : The post holder is responsible for the clinical management of the department during the shift, including the organisation of the department activities and the management of staff and resources. The post holder will support the Lead Nurse and Matron in developing and monitoring services and the quality of care experienced by patients. The post holder should have a specialist interest in developing this new Clinical Lead role to facilitate new and innovative methods of service delivery.Main duties of the jobTo take the clinical lead role in delivering high quality care to emergency and elective paediatric patients. The clinical lead will work clinically on the ward alongside staff to support in clinical effectiveness, and service/ staff development/ improvement. The role also entails collaborative working with paediatric ED to ensure the effective, and smooth flow of patients to PAU from ED Paediatrics.This new role will focus on the quality of developing and delivering services to ensure patient experience, and quality assurance.To provide knowledge and guidance to all Multi-Disciplinary Team members to enable best practice within the clinical area.To identify, devise and lead implementation of new service developments, pathways and changes to practice in the care of this patient group.To develop the Clinical Lead role to facilitate new and innovative methods of service delivery.To work collaboratively with the lead nurse to undertake monthly audits to enable the monitoring of quality and proactively action and implement necessary improvements to enhance patient care and experience.
