Situé au sein de la prison de catégorie B HMP Altcourse, cet établissement est l’un des plus fréquentés d’Angleterre, avec environ 1 164 patients âgés de 18 ans et plus.
Description du Poste
En tant que pharmacien clinique, vos responsabilités incluront :
- Assurer la prestation d’un service pharmaceutique intégré, sûr et de haute qualité pour l’établissement pénitentiaire.
- Fournir des conseils d’expert sur les questions pharmaceutiques et garantir une gestion des médicaments conforme et moderne.
- Encadrer une équipe de techniciens en pharmacie.
Horaires : Lundi à vendredi, de 7h à 16h
Type de contrat : Permanent
Salaire : Entre £49,848 et £59,941 par an, en fonction de l’expérience

Qualifications :
- Pharmacien inscrit auprès du General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Diplôme de Master en Pharmacie avec stage préalable.
- Expériences post-qualifications pertinentes.
Bien que non essentiel, une expérience de minimum un an dans un établissement hospitalier est idéale.

📝 Description du poste : We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our primary care team at HMP Altcourse a category B remand prison located in Fazakerley, Liverpool. HMP Altcourse houses around 1,164 patients aged 18+ and is one of the busiest remand prisons in England. Within this role you would be joining and experienced and well staffed Pharmacy Team, where your role would primary focus on dispensing, clinical screening, structured medication and delivering services including vaccination, pain management, minor ailment and substance misuse services.HoursMonday to Friday 7am-4pmSalaryThis full time role with an annual salary of between £49,848 and £59,941 per annum depending on experience.How will we support you?

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.What you’ll be doingAs the Clinical Pharmacist your responsibilities will vary. You will:
- Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service
- Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring a safe and modern medicines management services
- Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

- Registered Pharmacist – holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Vocational Master’s Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
- Relevant post qualification

Prior to joining Practice Plus Group I spent almost 10 years working in community, but I have found that the prison environment is where I feel I can utilise my skills and truly make a difference. I see patients with complex health issues, I help keep them informed about their medication and support out-patients in managing their conditions day to day.
